Haven't had a General Wintergreen do that YET, but then they're not my main goto. But this morning I had a Skruf Stark White come open on me, boy what a surprise that was. I really expected one of the mints to do it first considering the acidic base of any mint, but I was mistaken again. When you think of how many are made in a day you have to kind of expect little things like this happening every so often.

I've had this happen a few times....

Gone to flick a used portion out, only to find that it's burst and I can't get it out cleanly.

Then I've realised that I was actually using los at the time.....

Sorry man. You are right, to each their own. :wink: I think it has something to do with the year 1978 to be honest. Had my first dip of tobaccy and it was Skoal original (wintergreen). Puked my guts out. Never did Skoal again. Here I am 31+ years later and what do I try.... :?: General Wintergreen. Guess how that went?

That explains it, always wondered why those portions seemed to break open easily. Come to think of it, wintergreen portions are "softer" too. Don't know what all the hate is on wintergreen. Must be because the Europeans hate toothpaste/clean mouths. :lol:
