My impulse buy

I've been reluctant to try Claq Qui, since it's being discontinued, but I was just browsing buysnus.com, and I saw they have a buy 10 for the price of 7 deal going on. That, combined with the 6 roll discount means I can get it for $2.58/can delivered.

... So now I have 60 cans coming, of a snus I've never tried. I hope it keeps well in the freezer. And, I hope the Claq Qui lovers here are willing to trade/buy some if it turns out I don't like the stuff.

So far I've never met a snus I didn't like. Some are better than others, but none have been downright nasty to me.

Unfortunately, I am in the minority that thinks this particular one is close. With some irony, I had opened a can the day before the news, first one I had tried in over a year. And quickly found I strongly disliked it still.

Was so strange to read all the desperate comments after the news was known. But doing this so long, know that is just snus. Some people love what other hate.

But the snus exchange here is top rate. If you do decide you don't need so much, I promise you will have gotten rid of any you don't want within hours of posting.

I love Claq Qui. Was hoarding my stash of 14 cans, but today I just had to break one out and go for it. I'd been doing Lucky Strike Bold for the last few days and enjoying it, but the Claq flavour is just so much nicer. The LSB is just coarse in comparison. I'd almost forgotten how much I like the Claq.

60 cans of a new snus to you is a bit crazy but at 2.58 a can you can't really lose out even including shipping if you do some trades or sales.

i wish we wouldve had some warning on lucky strike. like one month to stock up. it was just like one day, shit, 3 snus gone.

Update:

My truck-load of Claq Qui arrived yesterday, and... It's good!

I'm relieved. I'm about 6 portions into my first can, and I really like it. To me it tastes a lot like Grov black, or maybe a cross between Grov black and Onyx, which is a good thing in my opinion.

So, thankfully, I won't be looking to "get rid" of any of it, but if any of you want to try it, I have plenty to spare.

Chadizzy's idea to corner the Claq Qui market sounds like a good plan too...

To me, Claq Qui tastes like a non white version of General Sterk.

I bought a roll of Claq Qui. Into my first can for a few days right now. So far I find it the most boring snus I have tried. I barely taste anything even when blowing air into my upper gums. Not even tobacco. So I find although it goes well with just about any beverage due to its total lack of taste (with my taste buds anyway), I just find it too boring to use regularly. But as with all my snus, I will revisit it and revisit it down the line and see what changes.

It's been a while since I had some, I have 3 or 4 cans in the freezer, but I seem to remember it having a strong distinctive taste....

It might be my next can to open.

lol, even now, when my taste buds are returning (from not smoking) I am beginning to taste the subtle flavors in the "non flavored" snus, but still with Claq Qui nothing, just boring. What can I say. Snus is different for anyone. And hey, if it doesn't change, I have 9 cans for trade on the exchange. lol.

true. i myself have never been a big fan of it, but not because i found it too mild, but because it was too strong. i dig milder. ettan los is a fave of mine.

I LOVE Ettan, its my favorite 8mg nic snus out there. It would be my everyday snus if the made it in sterk or ES. Its because of Ettan that I am considering trying los. I figure I can just double up on the Ettan pris for more nic. I absolutely love the chocolate undertone of it, reminds me of chocolate truffle coffee.

I just had my first ever pris of Ettan lös and it was pretty good. I've had the regular and white portions before but the lös seemed to deliver that nice mild tobacco flavor even better.
