Yeah the old shake a penny in the snus can trick bring back old snus. The way snus dries is that you end up with various sizes of lumps of snus in the can along with dryer powder, the lumps have trapped some moisture inside them.

shaking a coin inside the can will break up the lumps thus releasing the moisture and then it will mix with the dryer powder and make your snus good again.
