    Prismaster Question

Ok guys, finally am going to try los. Got 4 cans of los (well 5, my mustery can was also los from getnsus) and a prismaster. I have one question about it though.

The piece inside the prismaster, that you push to eject the pris, why is one end solid (or closed) and the other end has a hole in it (or is open)? I am assuming you use the solid end to do the pushing as it seems if you use the open end, the los will just pack into that and not eject. Am I correct in this assumption?

That's right. Only use the solid end, that's what pushes the pris out. Just stick the end, with the solid part back, into the can, push it tight, not too much though, then take it, and at an angle, push it into your top lip, so it comes out sideways.

It's gonna happen though, you will accidentally pack the wrong in of it. I've done it twice. LOL

        ^^^

Like the other guys said. They make it that way because it's cheaper than solid plastic :^D You can reverse the plunger in them, and it'll make a smaller pris than stock. I prefer that to the default method.

The end is open because of the manufacturing process.

I figured the prismaster was the way to start for me, being that I do not know how I will like los. If I like it, I definitely see an Icetool in my future.

Hey, why is it called the Icetool anyway?

Ultimately, the answer to any Prismaster-related question is to purchase an Icetool. It's really that simple.

While I am inclined to say that the proper way to use snus is however you see fit... it seems that if the entire population of Sweden made it through the 20th century without needing to drop $40 bucks on a chunk of aluminum, you might not need to either.

Take pinch, shove pinch into corner of can, mold into chunk, put chunk in lip, use tongue to pack chunk into comfortable shape, enjoy flavor and nic hit without having to wait the 20 minutes it takes for a tightly baked pris to hit stride. I managed to do this perfectly effectively the first time I tried (save a few more floaters than I get now). That was a few weeks ago. $hit ain't hard.

Valid point, but if you need a Prismaster, then you're much better off with an Icetool.

I said Prismaster-related questions, not los snus-related questions.
