Governments suck. You gotta wonder how the practice caught on. Once you get past the tribal level, governments aren't good for anything.

where do you get these kits to make your own snus?

      what do the kits contain?

My internet's laggy atm, and I'm not finding it, but it includes everything you need to make lössnus. It's more involved than just dumping in water. You have to bake it and everything, but it doesn't look difficult. I'd love to see Roderick from Toque release a snus kit. That would be great for the Brits, cause it's just nasal snuff until you turn it into snus :^)

          haha, this sound fun

please post a link when you find the kit lx,

I would be into trying out one of these kits.

The snus price has gone through the roof, I am afraid for now I don't afford to pay over $10 for a can which of course doesn't last more than 3 - 4 days.....

maybe it's time they legalize snus in EU and we could buy it off the counter and stop paying such ridiculous taxes.

just the other day I figured out that I am basically paying 3 taxes when ordering from U.S for example -

once I pay the tax that is normally paid in U.S for any tobacco product, twice I pay the E.U tax that is charged ........ and then I pay another percentage as tax right when the customs deliver the tobacco products to me.

it's pathetic to pay 3 taxes and end up paying $5 or $6 for a can of dip when Americans buy the same dip for $1.50 a can...

          same goes with snus

and I'm still not sure why they don't have dip in the E.U .... I mean snus is illegal to be sold in EU but dip is just a tobacco product (should be sold everywhere across E.U)

I just started a new facebook page to bring more awareness to legalizing snus in the E.U ... it's just ridiculous to NOT legalize it just because of some people that have money interests. (please join the facebook page or share it with your friends guys lets make snus available in EU)

          thanks

Maybe some Yanks can correct me if I'm wrong, but dip is not anywhere near $1.50 a can here in the US. In Seattle it's cheaper than cigs, at about $6 or $7 a can I believe. Cigs and snus are $8-$10 per package, which is definitely high for the US, but hopefully that helps you compare the prices to obtain tobacco in Romania vs. USA. You're not missing out on amazing prices if you can get dip for USD 5 or 6.

Yeah, the cheapest of the cheap dip here is around $4 a can if you're lucky. It varies throughout New England, but I've been through all of it, and $5-$7 a can seems more typical from a good brand of dip, like Cope or Skoal. In some states and large cities, it'll get up to $8 or so. So I don't know where precious is getting his numbers from.

Sadly Fine cut snuff is illegal in Iceland, and all oral tobacco is illegal aswell. I think you can grow your own for personal use aslong as it is "rough cut" im not sure for the right terms/words here since my English isnt that good, but i would think growing it yourself is okay again, aslong as it meets the legal things.

And since you guys mentioned price there, I noticed that when i was buying new cans of tobacco today it had gone up to about 1250 kronurs that's around 10 dollars a can, which contain 50grams.

The shittest, cheapest can of dinosaur cock dip will cost $5 here.

Precious, not saying the prices are good, but a good deal of the States pay high taxes on tobacco as well.

$1.50....I wish.....maybe 20 years ago...Here in NY, taxes are religion.

Grizzly is about as cheap as it gets, and that runs around $3.80 here in New Hampshire. Skoal or Cope costs up around $6.
