I wish someone would make an organic tobacco snus with no artificial flavors added. Surprised not to see one. I was smoking American Spirit Organics for many years, and although clearly not safe, it did give me at least a little more peace of mind...

Me too! Tobacco cultivation requires enormous quantities of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and fertilizers, most of which are highly toxic to the workers, the land and the water. Connecting the dots one can assume the residues in the tobacco are not particularly healthy for the consumer as well... I wonder about the differences in combusting these residues during smoking vs. absorbing them in dip/snus.
I think an organic snus with no artificial additives might just be the absolute safest tobacco product one could make...Comment
