Tiedemanns blå is a norwegian snus brand, made in sweden.
i have never seen it on sale in sweden, and i rearly do see it here at home.

a very different snus I must say, not for the non adventurous.

this was the very first snus I ever tried.

after i have rediscovered it, I can give some pointers to the taste.

Is there something about the taste of this that we should be warned about??

it as a little blue dye in it.
the taste is mostly pure tobacco with a little mint or something
similar.
but the thing about it is that it is VERY old school.
finely ground and hard to bake.

But if you find it somewhere, you should try it out, it's good.
But as I said, it's quite extreme and a little strange.

As I said, I have never seen it outside of Norway, and
even here it's rare stuff.

it's not that blue, it has a slitel blue tinge to it.
Have to look closely to see it, it's more of a gimick I supose.

well how do you get it? is it in only one or two stores you've been to, a ways away?
why would it be not so fresh, especially this time of year?

As it is rearly bought by anyone it will sitt in the store for a wile.
Normaly when I get it, it has a month or a little less left on the date.

You can normaly get it in Statoil gas stations, a few stores and a tobaconists here and there. But since all of this is in Norway, you'll probably have a hard time getting your hands on it.
Have never seen it in a internet store.

But if you whant it, send me a PM.
We can probably arange something, but it will not be cheap.
(I will of course not charge anything, but the price is high, specially since I probably have to get it in a gas station)
