    like this?

Yup, just like that, but a bit more low budget :^D

If I were running the show, I'd concentrate on getting the product out in bars. Give lighted fridges to the bars, and sponsor a snus night at the bar, highlighting Swedish culture, and giving away snus and alcohol. Let word of mouth take care of the rest.
Lx: Maybe you should tell someone that, it is a great idea! I think it would work very well.

Thanks, but no one cares what I think. If they did, SM lös would have tin tops, they'd bring back some extinct brands of lös, and Gotland would go back to the old coarser grind :^D

Well I care, even if it doesn't count for anything!

Makes me want to take my stash to a bar and buy drinks for every smoker who tries snus!

Thats' where I would go too. Bars and restaraunts where you have captive smokers that can't smoke due to smoking bans. Concentrate on converting existing nicotine addicts.

That site gives me Douche chills. There is nothing interesting or appealing about it. It makes Snus seem like another lame soulless corporate shillfest

Douche Chills? LOL. Yeah the thought of hot girls handing out General samples to frat boys at dance clubs is... just gross, oddly enough. It's the soiling of the sacred, like taking a dump on the steps of St. Peter's Cathedral. If you're Catholic. As much as I love snus, I'd rather pinch one off on the Vatican. Our secret (in the US) is out, and it's getting dirty.

Let’s review the conspicuous and menacing events leading up to this seemingly innocent thread:

First, Chad joins the forum. Sage busts him up. Retro white disappears. Hummm?

Next, Chad writes the following about Claq Qui on his web page “I'm not a fan, I'll be the first to admit it” And then Claq Qui disappears.

                    Next snusdog disappears………..
fortunately he was replaced by inter-dimensional parallel being who remains under contract through the end of 2011. snusdog we miss you wherever you are. Be brave!!!!

And suddenly he is featured on the Swedish Match web page with just the sort of hip advertising he proposed.

Friends this can mean only one thing:

Chad has taken over the world of snus and is now running it from deep within his underground lair somewhere in the red clay hills of Arkansas.

He probably has ray guns too……

Im actually usually against this type of corporate hubub, but at this moment, anything they do to get the word out about real Swedish snus in this country is ok by me.

Chad in all seriousness, congratulations. Also, props on the new look to your site. It has come a long way since its beginning. It looks like you DoomiteAsh and Laz are doing great jobs.

                          dog 8)

For those of you who don’t know Chad’s site is a review oriented site that offers both written and video reviews of different snus brands posted by Chad and his fellow contributors. Thus it fills a different nitch in the cyber snus world than our more discussion oriented snuson.

I dont like having an "image" or a "lifestyle" sold to me. I have an image and i have a lifestyle. Snus is not my "friend". It doesnt make me feel like i can "live my life with no limits" or any of the other salesmanspeak. I'm a drug addict. My drug is nicotine. Let's not romanticize this. Give me some risk reduction in delivering said nicotine in a pleasurable manner and ill buy it. Hence, I use snus now and have for a pretty long time now.....advertising didnt get me there. The product spoke for itself. Not some skanks snowboarding around in a commercial. That shit insults your intelligence.

I agree, and that's why I switched from cigs to snus. Unfortunately one of the approved warning labels is that snus is not a safe alternative to smoking. Despite what we all know, I'm pretty sure it's against the law for them to advertise it as safer. Those are the restrictions that they have to work within.
