What am I missing on this Thunder can?

With my go-to portion snus now going bye bye (Claq Qui), I figured I finally had better find a new portion go-to. So I broke down and bought a can of Thunder Frosted from ClubSnus (which, by the way, was in an order that got here extremely quick).

When I first looked at the can I noticed that right above where it says "Thunder" in big light blue letters, it says, "LOOSE SNUS."

Hmmmm... I thought it was portions, but loose is cool. I open the can, and it is portions.

So what's up with the "LOOSE SNUS?" What am I missing here?

Apparently some of the cans were labelled incorrectly.

Seems like much with Thunder is incorrect these days. Just had a can, and at least 7 portions had almost no tobacco in them.

Yeah. I was wondering about that too. I got a can of Thunder Berry to try out as well, and about half the portions are all big bag and very little tobacco - thin as a sheet of paper. The frosted portions seemed to be filled correctly.

Anyway, I think this issue has been discussed elsewhere.

Don't know if the Thunder tobacco flavors are gonna do it for me, but I must say - I'm getting a buzz.

Yes, the buzz part they do always deliver. Still, after 3 years of using, I can't chain snus a Thunder. I will get sick if I do.

People are different. Some can't drink 1 beer, many shouldn't drink more than 1 beer, and some can drink a case and be fine. I suspect it's the same with everything.

v2 has new production equipment for Thunder portions. Marc was nice enough to let me sample a can of Frosted portions off their new line. The quality is way up! Every portion was plump and juicy.

Christi, being an American non smoker or dipper, what led you to snus?

i like thunder frosted but a can last maybe two weeks. so i only buy a can every now and then. a few days ago i bought a new can and the portions are different... i would say almost completely changed. they are more like say a general portion or that type. lot fatter and i would say better made.

but overall i think i liked the old ones better. if i was v2 and read this i would give up haha.

i am a long term heavy tobacco user and i seriously think the nic kick is harder with these new ones. it's the taste of the old ones that i liked better but i will get used to the new ones.

I told the story in the share your snus story thread, but basically I saw the camel sign at the gas station and thought it said something about sinuses, lol. I really thought it was medication for sinuses made by camel and it said sold cold. So I got some and fell in love. For 6 months I got about a can a day free then they jacked up the price to over $4 so I researched the real deal and have never turned back. It is more of a hobby now than anything. I have almost tried all the flavors out there, once that is accomplished my freezer will be full of nothing but Thunder Frosted and Skruf Stark White.

Sorry bout that, never read that thread. Great story. lol. medication by Camel, now that would be something new huh? haha.

Seems like we like the same snus, as those are my main 2 as well, although I also use Grov Black on a daily basis as well. ANd I use Gen WG (hopefully replaced soon by Gen mint) just to occasionally have a regular stregnth. But my main 2 goto's are def Thunder Frost and Skruf Stark White.

I would have to have some GR1 & 2 in there, and maybe some RL...otherwise I could live with Thunder Frosted and SSW. I can't stand General WG, yucky. Just the smell makes me sick, even in WG gum.

Nice to know someone else has the same tastes as I do.

Not to derail but I truly believe this is why Hedges invented L.260 nasal snuff.
