lol General is a nice treat when I open my free getsnus cans from time to time. I always seem to have 1 in the freezer that I had forgotten about. Just opened one last night.

General White. Doesn't get any better. I've now officially used more cans of General White than Thunder Frosted when I was in my Thunder Frosted phase, and I'm not looking back, or seeing any signs of it turning on me.

When I want a sterk, General Sterk is my go-to. Because I love white portions, it's nice to have a strong General in white.

If they made a General ES White Portion I would be in love.

Seconded. General and Ettan are pretty much the only brands of lössnus I use regularly anymore. I just can't be arsed with much else most of the time.

But I really don't like General portions much.

GES los has become one of my regulars. I like the ES because I can make a smaller pris, and that, kids, is economical.

That's a really good point about the lös. The economy of scale is the one reason minis are such a crap deal. They should put them in regular sized tins and you should get 48!....not 20 = Fail.

I have great appreciation for GENERAL. cuz i love me that great Wintergreen flavor. I'm sure I've emptied 250 cans worth :P

im a pretty big general fan. i do like the portions, los, and the maxis. pass on the mint and wintergreen.

as far as swedish match goes, theres things i like, and things i dont like about them. fiberboard los cans seem inefficient. they mudslide a lot on me. i do prefer their portions to companies like v2, taboca, and gotland, (based on size, shape, and general comfort in my lip) but not as much as F&L or JTI.

The most recent batch I got has an almost wintergreen taste there. Not much; it's just a hint, but I'm not digging it.

Once I ran out of General. :shock:

In a panic I went down to the Home Depo and bought a tube of window caulking. The only problem was that the tube was only $1. I finally convinced the clerk to charge me $4 dollars for it and when I got to my car I went ahead and charged myself and extra $7 bucks for shipping. Got home and added just a touch of salt and oh- that pure and delectable General los experience to a T.

I’ve still got a little of the putty left in the tube so I’m thinking of adding some toothpaste….. you know……….. so I can get my General Wintergreen on.

Edit: lxskllr feel free to move this post over to tips and tricks. I'm sure there are a lot of folks who would love to know how to simulate putty in a can.

BUT a bit unfair towards General. General is a strange beast. I went from loving it to not ordering it for a while to it moving back into my top five.

While it will probably never be as "good" as Gotlands/Gellivare/Ettan (if I had to judge it objectively) I still find myself using a lot more General than anything else and will probably continue to do so.
