Are you a Mad Scientist of Lös??

Just wondering, have any of you ever taken different flavors of Lös, and mixed them together to create your own flavor? Just a thought...... :P

And on a unrelated note, how the hell do you guys get the two dots above the word Los (like this - Lös) ? I had to google it and copy/paste to do that.... :?:

Make sure your Num Lock is on and then it is Alt+148 (or it should be)

I never create new flavors, but I've been thinking of trying it. I mixed the dregs of a couple cans awhile ago, and I liked it. It was primarily Grov, with a bit of Gotland Grå. Pretty tasty. I'm thinking 75% Grov 25% Gotland's the way to go. Maybe even less Gotland. Just a hint of anis for the Grov.

If I have just a little left in the can, sometimes I'll mix it with something from the next one I open, but it's usually a little Ettan with Grov. I don't know if I want to be the guinea pig for some other combos. Thunder frosted with Skruf, Roda with Gotlands Gul, Offroad wintergreen longcut with Probe, etc. Someone else can try that.

I broke open some Grov Black and added it to some Roda with good results. It made for some difficult to put together prillas but the flavor was good. I think if I put it back into portions it might've been better due to less sliding and a longer snus duration. I didn't want to put the energy into figuring out how to reseal the portions so I just filled my mouth with tobacco.

I'll do it more in the future. Next order I'll get some lös cans 'cos I've already decided to order Langstroms and Gellivaire. I've got probably a month before I order because I still have a healthy stash and a box pass due in the next few days. Can't justify it yet.

I learned a long time ago with pipe tobacco that there are two kinds of people in the world. There are:
                  1. Blenders of fine tobacco products
                  2. Consumers of fine tobacco products

Countless failed attempts and hundreds of dollars later and I now know for certain that I am clearly in group #2
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

My last order had a some Phantom Brown Lös and Roda Lacket Lös. The phantom is ok, good for the price but i found the grind a little course and the flavor is a tad mild. The RL i think has a tendency to slide.  . Mix the two togeher !! It worked great. I took equal amounts, dumped in an empty can. Mixed, shook, mixed again. Better flavof, good texture and doesn't slide very easily. Works for me

You can also just change your keyboard layout. I use a Norwegian keyboard layout on my computers, and it gives me damn near every accent mark I could want For me, I just hit the ] key, and then whichever key I want to put umlauts on. For example in lös, it's ]+o.

Prima Fint + Thunder Frosted Los
It gives the spearmint a more subdued taste and enhances the flavor of the tobacco.

                          Ettan + Phantom Blue
Tones down the flavor of the Phantom Blue...but in a good way!

                          Two of my favorites.

I've been cutting Skruf Stark with Knox, because I'm trying to use the Knox up because I don't like it very much. Plus, it helps my beloved Skruf go a little further.
