    Stark, low burn los?

I just got an order of 5 cans of Grov Svart portions and like it alot. I am usually a predominately los user, los seeming to have more pronounced flavor, but alot of los irritates my gums.
My favorite los snuses are Grov and Ettan, partly because they seem to be low burn. I used to like Gellivare alot too.
So I would like some recommendations on a good strong (high nicotene), low burn los alternative. How are the Thunder and Odens brands as far as burn?

IMO, they will both give you more of a burn than you want. I think the Oden's is stronger (more burn) than the Thunder; however, I use Thunder on a regular basis and have lost the burn sensation from it.

I love the burn. The only 2 strong los snus I have though are Thunder Frost and Skruf Extra Stark. The skruf doesn't burn to much, at least compared to the Thunder.

Rule of thumb: the higher nicotine and/or pH, the more your gums will burn. I would recommend trying a low pH brand, like Gotlands, Thunder, or Skruf (lower pH than Swedish Match brands, but not much). Also keep in mind that loose snus irritates the gums more than portion snus, so it may be best to switch over to a strong portion snus.

Well this rule of thumb is not perfect because there is not a snus out there that gives me more of a burn than Thunder Frost. Thats my fav burn. Well, I know its more from the mint than from the tobacco, but yea, I can't tell someone to get Thunder Frost to avoid the burn, cause then they will want to know why there is a hole burning in their upper lip. LOL.

I'd definitely give Skruf Stark Los a try.

I forgot to mention that mint flavored snus (including wintergreen) will also make the gums burn more. Thunder Original doesn't burn at all, while the Frosted variety burns like hell.
