How long you been out of snus?

I ran out once in 3+ years. It was for 5 days. I went through 3 or 4 cans of Grizzly Straight then and my gums were pissed at me. I think I could go back to dip if I had to but it wouldn't be long until the dips got huge again and my mouth says eff you. Now I've effectively built up a year's supply if not more so I won't be thinking about this for a good while. Owens has it right...once you start ordering rolls you can take advantage of sales and the shipping gets smaller in proportion to a larger order. It has become a bit of an OCD thing with me, my stash that is. I noticed how elated I got when I open that big box in my cellar freezer. It's like seeing fireworks go off or something. I like that euphoria fix every few days.

I WILL NOT sleep with snus or snuff. For one thing, I've heard of those who can't sleep without a dip in and, perhaps as important, I use loose product only. It would only take one "mud slide" on the pillow case for the missus to rise up in her righteous anger and read me the riot act.

I got up at 3:45 this morning with the baby, and decided I might as well throw in a portion.

Got her back to sleep and went back to bed. Woke up at 7 with the portion still in.

When I started a couple of years ago, I ordered a sampler from Northerner, when it came and I liked it, I ordered a couple of samplers from Buysnus. Since then, I've never had less than 2 or 3 rolls on hand. Usually quite a bit more.

A few times I had to force myself not to order, as I would see a special and have to order an extra roll or two. By this past March, I couldn't fit anymore snus into the freezer section of my refrigerator. Once PACT passed, I loaded up with Oomph since it doesn't require refrigeration and bought 3 SnusX buckets.

Then my old refrigerator started having problems keeping things cold, the snus stayed frozen but the ice cream melted. I bought a new, big side-by-side... twice the freezer space, allowing me to order another 10 rolls or so, maybe more, I lost track.

I now have about 300 cans on hand. Hopefully that will last at least a couple of years.

I've only been "out" once, and that was only because I ran out of the house in the morning without my snus. Fortunately, there's a smoke shop near the office that carries General, so I just stopped on the way in and bought a can of General OP. I was using only extra sterks at the time, so I had to double-barrel all day, which was no fun.

Now, it's not a big deal, because I use mostly regular strength, but ever since then I've never left the house with less than 2 cans on me.
