Yeah, this has pretty much been the case for me too. I think for many of us, at least the Americans, the novelty of it is responsible. I know when I started, it was 2-3 cans of whatever looked good.

These days, I'm down to about 4 brands that I like to have around: Grov White, General Wintergreen, Ettan lös, and General lös. That's mostly it for me now.

If I see something new come out that I think I might like, I'll order 1 can. And there are a couple of brands I like particularly during the summer, so I make a large order in May that includes those brands and lasts until fall.

I like haveing one go to snus........except that its only produced as a limited edition now. But IF I ever run out I will nag Patrik at V2 enough where he will make a batch for me. I'll just have to spring for the big $ to buy the whole lot. So I really don't have the personal tastes for a variety in my snus. Now for women, thats a whole other story. I would love a variety. But alas, I already have a ball and chain.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I'm pretty much settling into certain ones I like myself now, which are:

        Discreet
        Offroad Frosted
        Thunder Frosted
        General Mint (regular and mini)
        General Wintergreen
        Offroad Wintergreen Los
Nordstrommen Julesnus (while I have it here anyways)
        Offroad Coffee Vanilla

Yeah, very much a flavored snus fan here

I have been snussing full time for about 6 months and have two main snus, Gotland Gul and Taboca Mini+ (minis for work).

I like to keep a few other cans for rotation
            Taboca Los
            Gotland Gra Los
            Roda Lacket Los
            Gellivare
            Landstroms
            Offroad Longcut Wintergreen

I have less than ten of each of these and they will probably last me through the fall. I also try a los I may not have liked in the beginning with each order. After I finish my open can of Gellivare, I'm retrying Phantom Brown.

I'm down to 35 cans of Gotland Gul and starting to worry I don't have enough stocked up.

I went on a serious bender when I started and wanted to try everything. I did a bunch then settled on one then another then finally Grov. I did Grov White portions solely for almost a year then tried a few others and gave up again. Creature of habit I guess.

I guess the curiosity of nasal snuff got the best of me and I went on a sampling bender again. Now I've gotten back into sterks and I can say for sure I could get by on any Grov and N&J and nothing else. I'd be completely satisfied.

It's nice to have others around but by the summer I'm betting I'll be down to five or six. Thinking about chewing a little again...but the spitting is friggin' gross.

Well, I think I'm becoming increasingly conventional. Right now I have rediscovered General Whites, but also like all the other General portions (especially Sterk). If I really crave nicotine, I like Lucky Strike Bold. The ekstra sterks (Oden, Thunder, GES, Skruf etc.) tend to give me a headache nowadays, but I used to chain-snus them. I guess I could live the rest of my life with only General Sterk, but prefer a mixture of General White and Lucky Strike Bold.

btw, cigarette usage is way down -- I experienced 21 consecutive days without smoking in Jan/Feb, although I have smoked a total of three packs since January 1. These days, I only crave the lethal version when I'm in a bar after 9 pm (where I live, smoking is banned in the indoor areas of restaurants as well as in bars before 9 pm).
