Granit maxi portion and the loose taste very much the same. The loose has a better flavor though I think...it's more fresh and potent than in the portions...which goes for about any portion-to-loose comparison anyway.

Roda Lacket loose is most definitely different than it's portions. It's very subtle, has a doughy character of flavor and physical consistency...the tobacco flavor reminds me of what standard pipe tobacco smells like too. It's not bad, but if you're looking for flavor, it doesn't have much. The portions are much better IMO, rather fruity (but not obnoxiously so) and has the flavor that loose has in the background which complements it well.

I recently tried the Granit Maxi portions. I was very impressed. The flavor was excellent. I'll definitely be ordering more of these in the future. It might become my new "daily" snus, at least as far as portions go. I can't believe this stuff is so inexpensive. Even if it cost as much as the SM brands, I'd probably still buy it.
