Since you said just one-Ron Paul.
20 Repubs voted no, 5 Dems. Bush had said he'd veto the original bill if it made it to his desk.

He's not electable, because neither party machine will back him, which means the aristocrats would not fund him.

Well I completely agree with you... we're on the same page. When I use the term "government" I mean the all-encompassing group of people who control our lives and can pretty much do anything they want.

The banks and corporations control the government, the parties, and the media. We don't have a "government" protecting us from the banks and corporations anymore. They are all one in the same. This is the problem.

              H

e is a registered republican lol but your right, they throw him under the bus every chance they get, even though he is more small government conservative than any of these phony neocons are.

Even after he won the straw pole at the RNC convention Fox was smearing his name every minute of every hour the day after. How come the glenn beck's of the world can get a million followers by using obvious shock value and nonesense, yet people like ron paul can't even get 10% of the vote in an election despite the fact that most conservatives constantly preach everything that HIS VOTING RECORD SHOWS he believes in.

I got UPS shipping ONCE; that was for a "tin" of Kardus. The snus cost me $60, and UPS cost me $40.

That's my issue with PACT exactly. That's also why I ALWAYS use Swedish Post ->USPS, or have up to this point.

And this is the future of tobacco in the US. A large % of cigarettes sold in Canada are black market. This bill will greatly expand the black market in the US, along with creating a whole new level of enforcement bureaucracy.

International UPS is very expensive, much more so then domestic. This the end of buysnus as far as the US market is concerned.

Looks like it's time to change my line of work. One good thing about government red tape is that it creates very lucritive jobs in the freest market of all= illicit substance trade.

Oh! I forgot! Its not that you're all totally addicted more than you ever thought you could have been when you were using whatever past product, Its just that your fine tuned tastes have acquired to that of a well bred connoisseur and you don't WANT to quit! Totally my bad!

Yah beating addiction is not my concern. I have conquered worse in the past and quitting snus would be like quitting soda, it could be done with minimal effort imo. But why? Snus as far as I can tell is not much more dangerous to my health than eating cheese and i don't plan on quitting cheese either. It tastes great, gives me the boost I need, and is a great discreet way of giving my body something foreign to latch onto. In my past I spent most of my time making sure there was some foreign substance, whether it be alcohol or otherwise, constantly in my system. Over the years my body kind of expects it. I know it's wrong to substitute one bad thing ofor another, but I am a firm believer in risk reduction. Though not snusing at all would unquestionably be healthier, having snus as part of my daily regiment allows me to feel like I am chemically altering myself without the need to do so in a harmfull way.

Hell I used to be a major alcoholic but now I drink roughly 40oz of beer a week and it's usualy just a glass of wine once a week, so for me snus is a win/win and has drastically improved my life and the amount of time I get to spend with my daughter.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it congress/tobaci nazi's!

So wait, you stand firm on your belief not to and never to quit cheese?

The only thing I am giving up is paying tobacco taxes. Oh wait, I haven't paid those in years anyway. Snus and e-cigs since April of last year. RYO baccy at $12 a pound for the two years prior to that.

Let me restate. I am not giving up paying baccy taxes, but will simply continue with that tradition.
