lol, it was a pain in the ass! I'm gonna go back and get the other flavors too, one thing I noticed though, the ends of the pouches were sharp, very dry snus.
I noticed that too, the ends were all hard and sharp and sh*t. No moisture to speak of.

    Never again....

OK, I took one for the gipper today, just got back from the store, used my Copenhagen coupon, as I wanted to try the new Extra LC, and they had the new Marlboro Snus, at $1.74 each. Figured I'd give them a try. Going to eat lunch right now, but will try one when I'm done.

        OK....

Just finished eating, White Castles, and a diet soda, so my taste buds may not be 100% clear, but I went on an opened the new Marlboro Snus Rich, that I bought a while ago.

1st off, with only 6 portions, for $1.74, this won't be a rebuy. But just to say, hey, I did try it. I'm not into mint and such, so I picked Rich.

Smells not bad, like others have said, like Khaluah liquer. And it does to me as well. Maybe something nutty too.

Portion was totally dry, but I think they do that to avoid keeping them cool. I also tounge bathe my snus anyway, so this got it too.

Taste.... hmm, not bad. Again reminds me of that Kahluah, I really don't know how to spell that.

I find the portion comfortable enough, I'm not getting any sharp edges. If anything, the taste is on the weak side. Unless I rub my tounge on it, I really don't get anything. Another thing it reminds me of is that coffee, Irish Creme.

Overal critique, realizing the US is not ready to make a bold tobacco seasoned blend flavor, this is not terrible, as far as taste, portion comfort goes, though it's a bit weak in flavor, as far as nic is concerned, I have no idea, I can't really tell that with most any snus.

Rebuy? No. Use what's left? Yes.
All comments here are my opinions only.

Oh, and personally, I like this more than Camel. I'd rather have weak decent flavor than their overload.

        EDIT UPDATE!
OK, the "flavor" has greatly increased, and it's pretty bad. Gives a mouth numbing effect too, and is a bit harsh on the throat. And highly artificial. American "snus" just sucks.

Now I look at my reciept and my Copenhagen coupon did not take off the $1.50!!! Ugh.... is it worth walking back there for $1.50? I don't think so. Just check the reciept better in the future. Update. Yes, it did take the coupon off, it threw me for a loop because it didn't give a new total on the reciept.

Gad... why do I still have this in my mouth? It's now very strong, and mediciney like... it reminds me of something... I just don't know what.

I think my buddy is coming over this weekend to pound beers, I gave him my Discreets, he might be getting these too.

I now do not think I will use the rest. Yes, they are bad.

Thanks for the review Tom. I'm not hearing much good about these at all. I think they're off my "to try" list unless I can get a pack free. To put the cost in perspective, that's $6.96 per Swedish style tin. That would be pricey for the best snus in the world. For one whose best review is "it's tolerable", and more typically, "it sucks"; that's a hell of a lot of money.

It was pretty bad, and the "taste" just would not leave. Luckily I had some Altoids in my drawer.

I bought a red box. Smelled like maple syrup. small long portion.

              Never buy again.

If it looks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck it's a Duck...
If it looks like shite and taste like shite is it shite?

What made this so bad, was the artificial strong "flavor" and sweetner, apart from the throat harshness.

It really would have been much better if they just pouched up floor scrap from the cigg tobacco.

Why the US "snus" is always so overly flavored and sweetened, I'll never know.

I know Tourney/Grand Prix was always criticized, but it was a lot better than this and Camel.

The title of this thread is more like, "Marlboro snus, There It Goes"

Oh man, I tried the Rich. Tasted rather alcoholic. I had my first one while working, took it out so that people wouldn't think I had been drinking. Didn't mind the taste too much, but not something I would plan on getting ever again (especially at $1.99 for six portions).

It seems as if the taste is rather alcoholic (coffee liquor as others have stated, although at the same time it has a maple syrup taste as well, which yet others have stated)... I wonder if this is so that Marlboro doesn't have to deal with the headache of the "concerned parents" screaming "CANDY FLAVORED TOBACCO" at them. Whatever the reasoning, it's still not that good. I think that Triumph is the only one that ever got it right (not overly flavored + actual Swedish Match product = damn good). Sadly, it's the one that never expanded past my area and wherever else it was, and is even more sadly gone now.

Anyways, I'm actually relaxing with some Captain Beefheart on the turntable, and some Claq Qui in my mouth (to continue with the sadly's, it's much much sadder that this is my last can of Claq), and they're mixing together very nicely. So, I have to say... we adults want flavor, but we don't want candy flavors or overly sweetened booze flavors. If I wanted that, I'd go to a candy store or a bar.

I just went to my 7-11 and they have some new slogan for their new snus, something about "it fits" or "tobacco that just fits" or some nonesense.

sounds like maybe marlboro should fit their new snus back in their ass.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Let's hope that they will learn. I just don't understand why they didn't use all the knowledge Sweden has. Now they have tried to reinvent the wheel, it has never worked
