Ah well, when I was 15 I was able walk into a pub, order a beer, smoke a cigarette, and nobody cared, really nobody cared the least, despite the fact that all the underage drinking and smoking laws already were enacted, and despite the fact that I really didn't look older than I was ... and the world probably wasn't better than it is today but it definitly wasn't worse.

Modern times have much more in common with the Nazi empire than with anything that can be called freedom. The general submisseveness, the common believe to be ruled by wise people who care for our well-being and not by people who just care to fill their own pockets, really is beyond me.

Thats Germany though, you stand up for what you want to do and believe everyone has that same right, look at smoking bans and how many bars ignore it! Everytime I have been to Germany, its apparently banned but there are plenty of bars freely advertising the fact you can smoke in there.

It's because we're a nation of prudes, and though we talk a good game about freedom, we don't practice it. Stings are routinely run to bust shops selling to minors, and there can be serious penalties for violations, including losing licensing, and if you're a clerk, personal fines, and loss of job. It's breaking us in to the growing police state, and breeds mistrust and division amongst the population.

Its supposed to be the same here, when people get caught doing it they get a slap on the wrist and maybe a fine, its part of growing up trying to buy beer and tabs when you're underage lol

There is a country in europe where the legal drinking age is 14! A lot are 16, however it if perfectly normal in most european countries for teenagers to drink as they are taught responsibility by their parents, thats whats lacking here in the UK as their parents are often out on the lash!

I visited relatives in England when I was 14 and they always got me a glass of real cider to go with my meals at the pubs when we went. It blew my mind.

Again quite normal here, but its 16 in a pub or restaurant to drink and its only beer or cider, most places put a limit on how many you can have as you don't want drunk 16 year olds running about your gaff lol.

Real cider is good but fooking strong!! Not the "cider" the chavs drink in parks or at bus stops! lol

Don't I know it, at 14 I needed an afternoon nap after one glass! I had a blast there and look forward to taking my kids sometime soon. The family is in Devon, what a beautiful place.

It is a beautiful part of the country, they like their cider in the west country! Non of that strongbow crap, the stuff you can run your car on! lol

Just to get back to my original question.. There might be posts about this already, but hopefully someone is kind enough to inform me here. So which site do you guys in the US use for ordering and does customs add some sweet little extra payment on the side? Fortunately Im 22 so the signing will not be a problem.

At this point, I'd recommend Buysnus. Northerner is too unpredictable atm. Look into Snuscentral also. They tend to be a touch cheaper, but don't have a loyalty program like Buysnus. With Buysnus you get every 6th roll half price, but I don't know that you'd be over here long enough to take advantage of it. Snuscentral is handled by Buysnus, and they'll give you 10% off your first order.

Finland is a PITA to get snus in, right? Consider buying lots over here, and shipping some home every week. Get someone to put it in the freezer for you, and you'll be in good shape when you get back.

Ok. Thanks for the info lxskllr. Snuscentral or Buysnus it is then. Yeah that's what I was thinking also. PITA? Have to send in small packages, because the Finnish customs is on a snus hunt, because just last week news broke about a black market snus distributing ring in Helsinki that I used also for years and they sold tons of the good stuff for a long time. Even the police used the place A few times I saw a cop car parked in front of the store and no they were not locking them up but making some buys..
