I have also done this.. Prismaster is okay, but I look forward to buying an Icetool when I have a little extra money, if only because I like cool gadgets.. 8)
Pris Master Tip

i did the same the first time i tried the prismaster.
I also found however, different ways to use the prismaster.
One is to take the plunger out, and reverse it, so that the compression end (not the end with the hole obviously) is pointed towards the flat end of the cylinder.
the flat end has the prismaster logo next to it.
You get a bigger pris that way than having it the other way on the rounded end....also the flat end provides more of a 'seal' when compacting the snus, so it doesn't spew out the sides like it does with the rounded end.
Also, you can push in the button on the plunger, and then push it up, so the back end of the plunger is flush with the end of the cylinder...this allows for an even bigger pris. I use this now.

Re: Prismaster
Originally posted by Blackwidowmanon mine there is a hole on the side of the upper portion of the sleeve preventing to do this, if I did it would leak out snus through the hole.
also there's no way it would leak through the hole if you reverse the plunger on the cylinder.
since the prismaster has no gasket and it's not a tight seal, it will 'leak' regardless, if you compress the snus hard enough. i have to rinse mine out every few pris's...it gets hard to slide since snus starts caking a thin layer between plunger and cylinder.

Prismaster
No I mean I have a second hole punched on the opposite side of the plunger slide hole. Mine was already set to use the flat tip, they may have realised the problem and made changes to it.
Note that I have shorten the top portion. I'm sure that leakage would be negligible, in my case it would not serve its purpose.

it does look like the circular hole you have is farther up, or shortened, like you said.... yours is different than mine of course. but that does not mean it will leak if you move the plunger up. i still don't see it. if you have it already set at the flat end, what is the problem?

Originally posted by BlackwidowmanNo problem, since mine came the way yours is set now it did not make any since for me to follow your instructions an reverse it
if that makes any sence
mine also came that way...maybe they all come that way?
I figured mine was accidentally put together that way and everyone else had it the other way....
whatever...either way, like I said, nothing leaks out that hole even if you turn it around...unless the hole is drilled in different places per prismaster..which I highly doubt given they are mass produced and all...
