Recent reports came out with studies that actually showed that fattening foods are addictive, like heroin. I'm in the same boat. And the side effects of obesity and related illnesses, like diabetes, cancers, heart disease, ect, are affecting children more and more. I think our processed refined junk food is much more harmful to everyone, esp children than tobacco is.

I agree with some of the people in this thread and of course Snusify that the inability of some American smokers to quit outright is largely the fault of the American snus producers. The American snus products are simply inferior to the competition in terms of taste, nicotine delivery, and value.
I've never been one to 'demonize' big tobacco, but the choice of both camel and more recently marlboro to produce a product that is nowhere near sufficient makes me think twice about their motives. These are extremely successful companies; should they choose to, they could produce a first rate snus in no time.
