Thanks for the heads up. I really want to try this but I'm not buying a whole roll. I didn't like the onyx so I have my reservations. Especially if they use the same soft bags as onyx.

I just bought a roll of stark. What the heck it's only money.

11mg of nicotine per gram. That means more bang per portion, which means less portions per day. Is it really more expensive? I bought general onyx and was impressed...... More nicotine, more taste, and the tobacco is compressed firmly and shaped into a wedge.

You are getting a far superior product for a little bit more money. I think it's a bargain!!

That is great news, I will definitely be ordering a roll. Let us know what you think of it when it arrives, gents.

          it's OK.

general with a hint of liqourich.
little tobaco in each bag, det get runny a little quick,
desant, but not worth the extra money.

See, that's kind of what Onyx tastes like to me. That's kind of why I thought it might be a "Stark" style of Onyx, esp. given the star-formation packaging.

it has a much milder taste than onyx (thank god  ).
it has more of the general sitrus taste, but the lakris is there.

It's Stark, not sterk. Stark means "strong" in Swedish. As in "Två starköl, tack!"

It was developed for the Norwegian market though. I believe the Norwegians use sterk for the word strong.

I wasn't aware of that. The first time I ever had some was in Bergan and I was attracted by the white can.

General sterk is really good. I think I like it better than onyx, both are very good though.

Svenska is tough enough, especially when I need to know both Skåneska och Jämtlandska! But I do like Norwegian beer better than Swedish, if that's worth anything.
