I don't believe this has been voted on yet, and the fact that it includes cigars....well, the politicians don't want to monkey around with them, lol. I'll do some checking on this one though.

Well we all remember how we thought the PACT act wouldn't pass. This one if you notice was included in the IDEA Funding Act with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act funding, so you know it will easily pass.

I registered with POVOX and sent a little note to the folks in Congress. I also alerted the folks at ECF as part of the bill relates to Electronic Cigarettes.
Other Tobacco Products- Any product not otherwise described under this section that has been determined to be a tobacco product by the Food and Drug Administration through its authorities under the Family Smoking Prevention and Control Act shall be taxed at a level of tax equivalent to the tax rate for cigarettes on an estimated per use basis as determined by the Secretary.’.
