    Snus in China

My dad is going to china at the end of the month. Does anyone know if they sell snus in china and what kinds they sell there? If so, i'll give him some cash to pick up some.

Seems maybe "City Snus" is marketed in China.

I've never seen snus or any smokeless over there, I highly doubt it's available unless someone has begun marketing it there. That too is doubtful due to their joint-venture laws, a snus company would have to partner with a Chinese company to operate, except for perhaps within the most economically unrestricted areas ("Special Economic Zones" aka capitalist safe-havens). In some cities it's hard to even get a decent pack of non-counterfeit cigs. Bringing some into the country is not a problem though.

I kind of doubt that they sell it there. However, if someone could get the ball rolling, and raise public awareness, I imagine it could do quite well. There are Chinese snuffs, so clearly the idea of smokeless isn't totally foreign to them. And from what I hear, the Chinese love their tobacco. It could be quite successful, providing the Chinese company you partner up with for business there doesn't jack all your trades secrets and knock you out once you've outlived your usefulness.

As for the tobacco cuts, I think they may be something of a Germany/Austria limited area.
