The whole thing I have against this is that RJ Reynolds DOESN'T EVEN GIVE A DAMN about their Lucky Strike trademark here in the states. They don't make Luckies in the filtered variety anymore and to get the unfiltered Luckies you have to visit a specialty shop and pay out of your tail end for them like I did today. (Yes, yes... I have smoked after two weeks of being quit with snus. I can say I don't enjoy smoking anywhere near as much anymore, though.)

So the point is that they could care less about "brand infractions" or what have you when it comes to the LS snus. It's all about RJR not wanting any kind of competition here whatsoever to their shitty joke of a snus that they sell to unsuspecting customers. The more Swedish snus they prevent us from coming in contact with the better for them. I hope Swedish Match and V2 come in and dominate the American market balls to the wall and run Camel Snus off the market while simutaneously costing RJR and Phillip Morris millions in cigarette sales.

I liked it more when I first tried it than I do now. The flavor's pretty good, but someone mentioned the weird grind, and I agree. It's like a blend of medium coarse, and medium fine. You get mini mudslides, with some of it staying in place; a really strange sensation. Also, it's too damned strong. I like a certain amount of snus in my lip for mouth feel, and if I use that much with the LS lös, it really hammers me. If I were able, I'd buy the occasional tin, but it wouldn't be a roll buy or anything.

EDIT: Normally the packs look regular, but their cellophane wrapper is the weird stuff.
Don't mean to call you out but this is not true. I've smoked way too many Chinese cigarettes, and their labels don't say shit about kids. They just say what brand it is (red pagoda = hongta being one of the more popular Chinese brands, for example). If you're talking about foreign brands, they either come there from other countries or they are knock-offs.

EDIT: to further the crusade for correct usage of their/there/they're

I don't even care about the taste tbh. I'd like to have the tins for my collection. I'm very impressed with the lös tin. I'd be surprised if they don't get a solid Swedish market based on the tins alone. How could you see that in the cooler, and not buy it?

I didn't say anything about China. Somebody else did. Those cigarettes look like they came from Singapore (which isn't even near China) just by noticing the way the labels are.

                    Example being their current regulations:
                    http://www.tobaccolabels.ca/labelima/singapor
                    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobacco...rning_messages
                    etc

EDIT: And when I said deter children from smoking I meant seeing the pictures alone they hope children will associate cigarettes with that which is on the picture.

It packs pretty well, but the different grinds separate on me. It seems worse than 100% fine, or 100% coarse. What happens with the LS, is the finer bits separate, and leave the coarse chunks up. I'm not sure why it seems worse than 100% fine, but I have an easier time controlling Röda Lacket(very fine) than the LS.

Silly putty. Really though, not a whole lot unless you've tried prima fint. It just sticks together super well, the kind where you can sometimes open a new can and just take a chunk to your lip with no pris-fashioning whatsoever.

In addition to what Roo said, it's very similar in flavor to Ettan. Less smoke and nuts, and it has a bit of a prune flavor going on in the background. Kind of like American leaf chew taken down 9 notches.
