definatly chocolate! my first loose. the nic hits faster than portions. will definatly order more loose later on. this will probably be on all my orders from now on!
Just loaded up my first wad of Bla, and it's... Pretty good. But I haven't noticed anything yet that really sets it apart. I can see the Ettan comparison for sure, and the grind really is nice. I definitely don't get the chocolaty flavors you guys mention, but for me that's a good thing. I guess it serves a smiliar function to Ettan los but for times when you don't want the nuttiness of Ettan? Fair statment? I'll be contemplating whether to buy a roll or even several cans before the big day. So far it's certainly a quality snus, but I'm not sure it's going to be a snus I can't get enough of.
Edit: OK I spit it out and I'm having a bit of a swelling reaction on the inside of my lip. This is not treating me right (the lip).

weird. i really liked it, but now im not sure i want any more of it. not sure why.
The taste of this is actually pretty good. I'm going to dub 2010 "The Year of Rich Snus", because after trying Gellivare & Landstrom's and then this one, it's really following in that tradition! Blå has a very rich flavor, and is yet another one without the traditional bergamot flavor. It tastes rather similar to Gellivare, Landstrom's, Grov, but has notes of chocolate in it than blend really well with the tobacco flavor. And it isn't a hint, you can pick the smell up when you open the can. The aroma that comes through is a rich tobacco flavor, but also very present notes of chocolate come through as soon as you crack the lid. This snus is rather easy to handbake, it has an excellent grind, and I did handbake a few pris' of this, and did a few with the Icetool, as well. It really is a good snus - it has a deep, rich tobacco flavor blended excellently with a chocolate flavor and a very small salt balance to enhance the flavor of Blå.
So my lip swelled up pretty good last night. The only other time that has happened was when I doubled up on Elixyr PE *shudder*. It wasn't good enough that I want to risk the swelling again, so I'll probably offer it up on the exchange. There's a small plug from my icetool missing, plus an extra finger pinch that I added on a few a mintues later. Chad, regarding the pic in your review, is the lighting weird? My Bla was much darker, same color as Ettan or most other snus. Just curious.
i am ordering 10 cans before june 22!!!!! IT WILL BE BANNED IN THE USA AFTER JUNE 22!!!
THAT IS A ****ING TRAGEDY!!!!!!
THIS IS BY FAR- THE MOST DELICIOUS, COMPLEX SNUS IN THE WORLD. TASTES LIKE CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH FILLBERT FROSTING. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 THE CAN IS MY FAVORITE TOO
Bla is awesome! I like it better than Grov for los. I have to finish my stocking with 2 rolls of this stuff! That will put me well over 200 cans for D-Day!
