Committing to a monogamous relationship with ettan

I've whored around enough the other loose snus',
    Some with questionable character.
Ettan is so soft and supple, so comfortable on the gums...
LD/Grov/genny...all good but they burn the fug outta my youthful gums.
The most unique taste...i think i'm gonna buy a pallet worth to cope with hope and change.

I don't like using 1 snus all the time. If nothing else, I want a plain(Grov, Ettan, Gellivare, Landströms), a citrus(Gotland Gul, LD), and a licorice(Gotland Grå, Offroad licorice).

Its all personal preference man. Most Swedes stick with one brand their whole lives (similar to cigarette smokers). Some people, including myself, prefer to switch between snus brands frequently. More power to you for sticking with one brand, since you will save money in the long run.

ettan has all the good qualities of snus imo.
plus the can is cool old school.

No, not really. It's a great snus though, it has a foresty taste too it, I imagine it would be most proper while doing the forestry work you do. It's piney, and a bit citrusy... lxskllr will be around any minute to give a better description.

The keyword is bitter. Good and tastey, but bitter.

The bitter is toned down in the lös I think, but I enjoy both forms tremendously. Roo mentioned the foresty taste. I think that's due to very heavy bergamot, which comes off as being piney when it's strong like that. It tastes like spring to me. Spring in a meadow, next to a pine forest :^)

If you can pull it off, good for you. I would love to settle on just one snus, but I don't think it will ever happen. There are some that I try and I can tell instantly that I will have no further desire to use them, but there are plenty that I think I might like to use occasionally. I find the variety to be one of the most attractive elements of snusing.

But if you do like Ettan/Grov/Phantom flavorings, I don't know that I would bother with Gotlands. It's good, but its a totally different ballpark than those three brands. On the other hand, its worth buying just to score one of their cans to keep other types of snus in.

If you're gonna marry one brand of snus, Ettan lös is a wonderful choice.

It used to be almost impossible to bake. I kept hearing people say how it was easy, and I couldn't imagine how. I didn't realize they had changed the grind. The old stuff, you'd smoosh it around in your hand, but it wouldn't stick, and it left a stinky spot :^D It was very wet, and non-adhesive. The new stuff is pretty easy, but the old grind was far superior.

I'm the same. Now and then I flirt with a single can of something to try it out but my one and only is Ettan los. I never get sick of it. Ever.
