I've still not gotten around to trying Kronan. No idea why. I think it is the description of it being "flowery". I got bored with Gustavus lös towards the end of the can because I found it too flowery. How does the lös compare with the portions (original and white) and does the flowery taste dominate?

Kronan is the definition of flowery. The portions I wasn't crazy about, but there was enough there for me to try the lös. The lös is the only lös snus I've thrown out. The only way to know for yourself is to try it, but if you don't like Gustavus, I don't think you'd like Kronan. Gustavus is much better imo.

Actually I'd remember that one of the flavouring additives which Kronan contains is dill. It still has its own unique flavor.

I don't get flowery. I'd give that definition to Knox. I get pickles, which I like!

Maybe it is dill... Not enough salt to go with it though. It tasted like tempura paint to me. Very disagreeable. It's unique though. Everybody should probably try it for themselves. There's no other snus really like it AFAIK.

I guess I should try it but frankly after all this time and having settled into my favourites I don't really see the point in trying snus I might not like when I could be spending that money on snus I like.

I'd be keen to try it if it were radically different, or the type of snus that I thought would be an interesting addition to my current favourites, but based on the descriptions it meets neither of these criteria. The price difference is also not enough to sway me. If I want a budget snus I will use Granit lös or Knox portions.

If I do happen to throw a can in with my next order I will let you know what I think..

I think it's pretty unique. I have not tasted any other snus that tastes like pickles!

lol, I guess. It's dill. I wish they would add a catch lid to the new can.

Having a standard lid helps keep costs low. They need to shave pennies where they can.

Okay. I guess I went wrong with my translations.

Dill pickle is the standard in America, so if someone says something tastes like pickles, you can usually assume it's either dill or vinegar they're talking about.
