"Ettan on the other hand, stands for the opposite. Ettan-users are more traditional in character. He - for it is a he, has lived in the same place for many years and the nature is his right element. He is strong, safe and taciturn. He likes the simple and unaffected."

    Yeah, that sounds like me.

sounds like some weak psych subliminal ad to me.

if you use this then you will have this image.
they throw the health thing in there but thats to keep people from thinking about the advertising tied into it.

So, let's see, I like Skruf tranbar.

Lot's of flavor, a very slight undertone of rosy sweetness. Spicy and bold, yet refined and sophisticated. Portion filled to the brim -- with staying power. A bit of extra punch at the first, but can still go 15 rounds. A can you can proudly display on a baccarat table.

Damn, wait, it's obvious that Skruf tranbar is the snus James Bond would use. 8)

                Hmm...

But Swedish Match is will not launch a "girl snus". "Women do not want to be looked at as a category. They do not want “girly beer” either. We would never launch a women’s snus. But many women find the loose snus too messy. And for them the portion-packed is better, "says Ulf Svensson.
They've already launched a completely female snus(Vertigo), and it isn't any mystery who Catch minis are meant for.

apparently OR products are marked to pond scum. The type of person that would never actually buy cigarettes but will glady search thru a dirty ashtray at the bar to dig up a big enough butt for a few drags. cool
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                    Damn timoteo! LOL!

Your post made me send a carbonated beverage (made with roasted barley, yeast and hops) through my nose.

Hmmm... My nasal passages never felt better! Thank you for your snus lifestyle!

PS: Not that anything is wrong with your snus lifestyle.

I read that article a while ago and found it interesting. I really enjoyed the information about snus brands and their consumer base. Here's a list of what I think holds true about snus brands and their users:

General, Skruf, Goteborgs Rape = modern, sophisticated, classy

Ettan, Grov = traditional, simple, bold

Portion snus = white collar, upper class

Los snus = blue collar, working class

Of course, there are always exceptions. For example, an older, but wealthy Swede may use loose snus because they started the habit before portioned varieties were available.

I differ to former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura on all questions related to why a person would use oral tobacco:

                              That's an old article.

Those who can imagine using snus is a wide range of people, and we have to adapt to different consumer needs, "said marketing director Patrick Hildingsson, now responsible for the launch in India
Swedish Match launched Click snus in India in 2002. (and since discontinued)
