Regular or White Portion?

The poll module in this firmware can be huge fun. Reasonably robust.

I answered I use them all but I actually haven't tried the los yet.
Full upper dentures, partial lower have me hesitant to go with the los. But I do have a can of Offroad Liqorice los in the freezer, just waiting for that "right" moment.

As for the portions, really makes me no diff. I think the only one that did was the General. I like the OP but the WP does come across as flat.

I voted only lös. That's not 100% true, but close enough. If suddenly portions became unavailable, I wouldn't be heartbroken. I needs me lös though :^D

When I do use portions, it's original only excepting a couple brands that aren't available otherwise.

I don't know. It seems to me they're 2 different beasts. I haven't seen a los that tastes anything like the portion version to me.
I usually.....usually use white portions because I like to leave the things in for 2 hours or so. When I want taste fast, I'll pop in an original. Different times call for a different snus. I use 'em all.

I don't think I've used a white portion in almost 2 years. Regular portions for work/driving/whatnot, lös at home

I think the "I only use loose" poll option should read something more like, "I only use loose, but, due to the social stigma associated with oral tobacco, I sneak portions when I need to, and, to be honest, I don't hate it. But loose is better."

I use 'em all, I like 'em all. With some (Röda Lacket, Tre Ankare), there's no alternative to white. With some (Grov, PM 1847) it doesn't make much difference. With others (LD, Ettan) there's a noticable difference (give me the OP with those). Some (Röda again) taste way different, lös compared to portion. With others (General, Gots Gul) I just luv the dickens out of both.

I'm a little different from lx, in that I could get by sooner with portions. I could get by with either, really, but a lös-only life would be a little more inconvenient. I can get away singing and playing with portions, especially strong minis, way sooner than I could with lös. I love me some lös, though.

I can use either, but I prefer the Original portion.

I use portions 90% of the time. The convenience and low visibility are the main reasons I prefer them. On the other hand, I enjoy the flavor and texture of los more.

When it comes to portion type, I only use use the Original. White Portions don't deliver enough flavor or nicotine for me.

Regular all the way. I've found whites to not provide enough flavor. There are a few exceptions due to only whites being available (General Sterk and Catch).

i hate white portions with a passion. i recently bought a can of roda lacket cause i used to like it so much a year ago, but quickly realized i never wanted anything to do with whites again. it feels like sticking a cottonball on your gums. they kind of give me a nails on the chalkboard feeling. i dont even like to use gotland or tabocas portions because theyre too close to whites to me. jti makes the perfect portions in my opinion. i guess if they do end up being too hard to attain due to pact i will probably use swedish match portions, albeit begrudgingly.

I find I'm preferring white portions, mostly for one simple reason. If a portion is too dry, it's very easy to add moisture. The reverse, however, is far from easy.

Another reason is that the sudden burst of flavor and nicotine from original portions is a bit like getting punched in the mouth, IMO. I realize that others may very well like that sensation, and that's OK -- just not for me. I prefer the gradual build-up of flavor and nicotine that white portions deliver.

I'm finding I like portions better, but the difference is fairly negligible to me between whites and regulars. I like the regulars for a couple of reasons; they are moister, generally speaking and drip quicker, which I like and seem softer on the gums. The whites last a little longer, so if I'm in a long meeting, I can keep the white in for over an hour without the need to chuck it. I think the only reason they last longer than the regulars is that it takes a little longer for the saliva to activate the snus. Don't get me wrong, I won't turn down snus in any form!

I prefer whites. For me it's the even delivery of flavor and nicotine. True, it takes a few minutes more for a white portion to get going but I find that the OPs drip too much and too fast. I can more easily regulate that with whites. I'm going to try to juice up some Gotteborgs with a little gin though. I find that I keep them in longer and to tell you the truth, for most of the day I crave the flavor more than the nicotine. ALso, with snus I've catered even more to my oral fixation thing so whites allow me to enjoy a more even and mellow experience. I prefer that for long exposure than in-your-face flavor or massive doses of nicotine.
