If you think making a spreadsheet for a snus inventory is geeky, then pipe smokers must be the biggest geeks of all. I know of at least one website where people keep inventories of their tobacco tins, so they won't lose the data on their precious stashes if their home PC suffers a hard drive crash. And since many pipe tobacco blends improve with age, tracking the age of the tins is important, too.

I've got some vacuum sealed now and more on the way. They'll be fresh as can be for quite some time I think. I know how long it'll take me to go through my staple snus and I have a dozen or so different odd cans. I'm buying while my wife doesn't seem to mind. It's pretty much a good season now for work so I'm stocking up and building a cache and take advantage of some bulk buys.
It's good to log what you are trying at the beginning. I never kept notes about tastes I got from them but I think I have a good memory for this kind of things. Once you find the few you really dig and start ordering rolls of it that's when the fun begins.

For those of you that use the spreadsheet....
So, I thought I was out of los, right? I'm digging through my vacuum bag stash in the freezer looking for another can of Grov portions, and in the same bag as Grov..I found a can of Gen ES los!! It was like Christmas in May, I was so very excited. You will never know how I felt if you use a spreadsheet and track your inventory...LMAO
On the other hand, if I were more organized I could have placed a los order sooner...lol

I just made one for the hell of it, but it should help me keep track of the vitals so long as I update it. I learned I've only got 3 tins of N&J left, which I'll have to rectify.
I'm going to guess that most of the other guys in here have a change jar. Don't know why, but it seems like 99% of guys I know toss all their spare change into a jar until it builds up and they go get cash for it. I've kept a spreadsheet on my change jar for a while, so I can tell how much I have, and when to break out the coin wrappers to roll some up.

I don't keep a spread sheet. I have my snus organized neatly in the left 1/3 of my freezer and can see what I have without moving anything.
92 Gotland Gul los, 46 Taboca mini, 8 General los, 9 Roda Lacket Los, 16 Thunder minis and 2 offroad LCWG.
It helps that I don't keep a big variety and the only one I really will panic about running out of is the Gotlands.
