    strong portions.

I cannot wait for my N&J and Skruf Stark to arrive. As of right now I only have some Offroad strongs. I find that throughout the day they are fine, but when i get to the bar, it takes 2 OR strongs to keep me going the way that smoking used to.

How long have you been snusing? I found when I first started, I needed the off road or N&J, but after a few months, that was just no longer the case.

I read an interesting study in all the snus material available online. Seems that folks who normally snus who are switched to a lower nicotine version do not use more snus. They just keep using their normal amounts with less nicotine in their systems. With the smooth delivery and smooth drop off of nicotine using snus, I find that I don't even notice for hours on the rare times I have been out and about with my snus

I think this could also be something to do with the way nicotine is delivered. With cigarettes you get a short quick hit whilst with snus it is slow and long.

When I started I used stronger stuff to recreate the cigarette quick hit. Nowadays I don't like strong snus and find that a cigarette doesn't satisfy me. Slow and long FTW.

I have only been snusing for a couple weeks now. Prior to that I quit smoking with Copenhagen. I have been without a smoke for about 2 months now, but when i get to drinking I still tryly crave a smoke. I pop in 2 strong portions and im good to go. I am sure the need for this will go away in time just as sagedil said. As of right now, I will use 2 strongs instead of lighting up. Nowadays if i even smell a cig, i cant help but smile as I am enjoying my snus.

I made the transition from cigars to snus. Cigars have an atonishingly high nicotine content, and at first I wasn't satisfied unless I used the stronger snus. Now I'm more interested in the more subtle flavors than nicotine content. It doesn't hurt that I can actually taste things now that I've quit cigars.

I did smoke a Carlos ToraƱo 1916 Cameroon Robusto on my birthday this year, and it wasn't as good as I remembered. I put it down with a good 2-3" left and went inside to get some General Onyx. I guess I've grown used to the slow, tasty nicotine delivery of snus rather than the sledgehammer of nicotine and flavor that cigars tend to provide.

I've read that cigars can supply up to 500 mg of nicotine. You don't even need to inhale them, the nicotine, like snus, gets absorbed through the mucous membrane in the mouth. Wow, no small wonder that I like cigars

I am a pretty avid Cigar fan, but i would say its 100% for taste. I get very little buzz from cigars anymore. I love the flavor of snus combined with the relaxation they provide. I find cigars relaxing in the sense of being with friends and conversing, I find snus relaxes me anywhere. Skruf Stark is truly a little Swedish hero.
