Has anyone ever had any flavored snus's they first loved; & now they hate???

I initially started on General Mint, Skruff Tranbar, Catch Euycalyptus, Oden's Kamel in rotation with my General White. The funny thing is I used to love those 4 snuses!! Now I cannot stand them. The heavy flavors are just too-much. HAS ANYONE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE??

Very common experience. That's why we tell you not to buy rolls right away. Tastes always change.

US camel and Marlboro are sweet and minty. So when I discovered the real stuff I went for Skruf Tranbar and N and J strong. I liked them at first, but they both made me sick after a while. 8mg tobacco flavor/bergamot suits me better I think.

Pretty much all of them. I wouldn't say I hate them, but I definitely burnt out on them.

yes. i used to love Claq Qui. Now its tuff to get through a can. but ill force it every once in a while since i have like 14 cans of it in the freezer. Grov black is another one i used to favor and now prefer to not use.

the flip side of it is that now i snus snus that i wasnt crazy about in the begining.

I haven't gone through this with snus yet, but I went through it with pipe tobacco. Ended up throwing out quite a bit because it turned on me.

OTOH, with snus, I am starting to buy rolls, even though I'm a raw newbie. My reasoning is: (1) PACT will raise prices and limit the number of brands available in the US, so it's wise to stock up now; (2) I'm only buying rolls of popular brands, so if my tastes change, I can trade them, contribute them to a box pass, or donate them to the troops. But none of it will be thrown away.

I'm not advocating that anyone should follow my example, however. Do what you think is best.

I went thru it a couple of times with GR. I loved it for the first few months then, just couldn't handle the Juniper flavor and didn't touch it for 6 months. Went to Sweden last June and hot hooked on it again and after a few months, Juniper flavor was making me sick. Haven't touched it since last month. Hooked again!!

It happens with most things to me. I love something, overuse it and hate it only to start the vicious cycle over in 6 months!

Hate's a strong word, but I don't use flavored snus like I did when I started. I still like every snus I once did, but the frequency of their use is much lower. I might use 1 or 2 flavored snuses per day, sometimes none.

I think it probably comes more with getting sick and tired of a certain kind. I think I've done this with dip. But with snus, I try to alternate cans and not just use one kind exclusively.

Happens all the time. Thats what we mean when we talk about a snus "turning on you". And why we tell you not to start buying rolls until your tastes have established themselves. And why we suggest variety as opposed to using the same kind all the time. And . . .
