It has a bit of bitterness, but I find it pleasant. I tried a can, and liked it well enough, but found it ordinary. My buddy at work likes it a lot though, and everybody he's given it to has really enjoyed it. He gave me a couple of portions back today(I gave him my can) so I could retry it and see what all the love's about.

Ya I just can't get past Tobocca. I been doing The General and really like it. Now I just finished a can of The General and opened a can of Skruf Stark: I and love it. It is really mellow, packs good, does not burn, and does not flatten out to like a paste. I was expecting a real strong taste, but it is really mellow and easy to manage.

I just got into my tin of taboca last night, and I really enjoy it. It does seem to get quite bitter around the 45 to one hour mark, but other than that, I dig it. The packaging is hokey, and the design is weak. But the tin itself is quite cool. I give it an 8 out of 10.
On a different note, I e-mailed the maker to find out what kind of tobacco they use in it, as there other products are from Cuban tobacco, I wondered if this was a Dominican/Honduran/Nicarauguan counterpart.
