I loved Skruf Strong Tranbar when it was still available as Los. Strange that they discontinued it. in 2005 it came in a small 40 gram can and was the strongest snus on the market (along with skruf strong itself apparently).
I would revisit this snus again if it came as a Loose, won't touch the portions though.

Maybe I'm just weird...but I don't notice any difference, other than taste, between Skruf Tranbar and Thunder Extra Sterk.

I can only speak for myself of course..... portions will not deliver the true flavor of a snus. Many portions of otherwise very delicious snus taste the same to me... again, that's only my perception.

I notice a difference in flavor...but that is the only difference I notice between different strengths of snus. I don't get a nic hit from anything...right now I've tried:

Skruf Original portion
Skruf Tranbar portion
Skruf Stark los
General White portion
Goteborg's Rape portion
Thunder Extra Stark Original portion
Roda Lacket White portion
Catch Eucalyptus White portion

Maybe I'm weird...I don't really know, but I don't feel anything different whether I use a Skruf Tranbar, or a Thunder Extra Stark. Doesn't matter if it's in the morning, late afternoon, or midnight. The only difference in the different snus is the taste of each one. I'm fine with that...I used to dip for about 10 years, and never got a buzz from that, either...I dipped, and now snus, simply for somethig to do...I like the taste, and I like having something in my mouth (no homo).

Oh, and how do you get the flavor out of los without ruining your pris? The Skruf Stark los that I have is really delicious...but I don't get nearly as much flavor out of it, as I do with portions, as I can't mess around with it with my tongue. I've left a pris in for like an hour and a half before.

I have a little trick I learned from an old thread on this forum.... Let the pris set up for at least 5 min or so and when you want a flavor blast keeping your lips closed blow some air in your mouth, This will cause the pris to release from your gum a bit and when it makes contact back with your gum... Bam! Flavor... Give it a try, But remeber this is all done quickly.... Blow the air in your mouth then quickly release it....
