It won't be available from US shops. They aren't going to give the FDA their ingredient list. Bad move imo. They're in a very precarious position as it stands, and they could use USA sales to ensure their viability as a company. I could see them gone within a year or 2.

Will I still be able to get it (and other non complying Snus) after the pact deadline, from Buysnus or other Swedish companies?...If not, I better stock up on odens , Taboca and all other forbidden snus...

Some say, you will still be able to get them from Swedish vendors. But I think it's largely a wait and see thing.

I suspect you will, but I don't have any real confidence in that. I'd be stocking any snus I really wanted, and hope for the best after June. Worst case is you have a bunch of snus you like, at cheaper prices :^)

Yeah i'd assume there'll still be a way to get non-fda submitted snus after PACT passes but you'll still have to pay out your ass for taxes depending on what state you live in. Might as well order a couple rolls if you have some extra room in the freezer just to be careful

Yes you will still be able to get it (or more precisely there is nothing in Pact or FDA that will hinder you from ordering it from overseas)

And yes some folks say you will be able to buy it and some say you won't. What matters though is WHY they say what they say. Can they point to it in the law itself and say there is the basis for my reasoning

That said, you might want to check the discussion out on this thread for more details. It is the USA Lawyers for Northerner responding to this very question
                http://www.snuson.com/forum/showthre...A-and-Pact-Act

Regardless, it will not hurt to place an order now. Shipping is less, the exchange rate is good, snus prices look as if they are only going up, and there will be less havoc. I just placed my yearly order (some 5 months early) for these very reasons. Got good prices, a good exchange rate, and the luxury of sitting back and waiting until all the confusion is resolved before I need to place another order. Win. Win.

One more thing, danielan has offered some very wise advice that is worth passing along. I would compare Northerner's prices with Buysnus prices in Euros. As of a few days ago Buysnus was using an old exchange rate. I bought a good deal from them paying in Euros (my card charges a meager 3% exchange rate fee) and ended up saving around $50. So check it out. Shop smart. And use all the deals offered and I think you will come out way ahead of where you would be if you place the same order this time next month

                hope this helps
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers
