One year ago today.....

I was down and out, no money and no cigarettes. I walked around by the coffee shop and asked people if they had any cigs to bum, not one person would give one out. So I was desperate for something with nicotine I remembered that I had two coupons for one free tin of Camel snus. I walked up to the QT and cashed them in for two cans of the US Camel. It got me through the next two days until I had some cash to by cigs but I did some searching on the internet on snus and made an order to Northerner and bought a few cans of General. So this being the one year mark of me snussing, I have had alot of fun trying the different brands and finding my favorites. I am glad I remembred those coupons, otherwise I would not have found out about something I enjoy so much more than smoking. I also would like to thank everyone here on Snuson.com for recomendations and reviews, this forum is one that is important to me (though I dont post much) Thanks to everyone!!

Nice one! Sometimes (just sometimes) desperation can bring incredible change. Thanks for sharing your story. I can't wait till I hit that one year mark with snus and without cigarettes.

I'm going to David's in Merle Hay Mall tomorrow to look at the nasal snuff they have, I am going to take a can of snus with me and talk to them about possibly stocking General.

Good deal, I emailed the skywalk gentleman today to follow up and see if he'd be interested in northerner contacting him. Can add my wallet to davids as well if that shows promise.

I think David's might be a better choice because they are in the mall and known as a specialty tobacco store and they already carry nasal snuff. But that is if they want to which is what I will ask when I go tomorrow, I will see if I can get some contact info and have Northerner contact them. Keep talking to the guys in the skywalk and we'll see what happens.

awesome man glad to hear it i have fallen back on the cig wagon as of late with all the stress of watching my dad inlaw starting his losing battle with the brain cancer but i am glad thati am here with him and able to help him and he loves snus so we have a blast going through my stash and enjoying all the ones that are gone now like level and retro and the pallmall and the ones you cant get any more due to stupid rj reynelds and there crying about copy right law but enough of that i am glad to here your doing great

Good news, I was at Davids today and they said they had been trying to get Swedish snus for a while. I got some contact info and sent it to rickcharles. Lets hope they can work something out!
