buysnus through Swedish post and it cane quick at a reasonable rate of around 8 bucks shipping. Too bad I won't be able to order from them again, ups would be way too much.

I just tried to place a mock order with buysnus. I had to enter my birth month, year and last 4 digits of my SS# before I could proceed but after that everything seems normal. Swedish post was still an option.

So, no more buysnus for me.

Just like your SSN is becoming, unfortunately, your universal identifier. Your last 4 is becoming your universal password.

Not to mention that most of the randomness of a SSN is enclosed in that last 4 digits. The first 3 are geographic and the next 2 are issued sequentially...

I wouldn't mind an "Authorized Snus Buyers Number" but you shouldn't have to give your SSN to get snus.

Totally off-topic, but IMO, there might be a business opportunity for this sort of service under PACT. The delivery sellers are banned from operating age verification databases:

"No database being used for age and
identity verification under subparagraph (A)(iii) shall be
in the possession or under the control of the delivery seller,
or be subject to any changes or supplementation by the
delivery seller."
