    Sleeping with Snus

This probably should be discussed because it seems to be a problem sometimes. Ocassionaly I fall asleep with snus still in and wake up in the morning with it still going. I am sure there are some risks in doing this such as irritated gums or even choking on it or swallowing it while in a deep sleep.

Have any of you done this? Share your story with us...........

I do it all the time. I like the nicotine infused dreams. Speaking of which... Two days ago I woke myself up by hitting myself in the balls. I vaguely remember doing that in my dream, but I can't remember why. I think I was blocking a punch or something. In any case, it's not a pleasant way to wake up :^D

Do it every night. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and switch it out for a fresh one. I suggest brown pillow cases if you drool

I was wondering this same thing last night.

I fall asleep on the couch every night with a portion in. When my wife wakes me up to go to bed, I spit it out.

Last night I asked her if she thought I'd choke on it if I just left it in all night.

I've been doing this for over a year. No choking yet. Once in a while it's gone when I wake up, but I usually find it somewhere in the bed.

Well see,,,,, Mister, that means we should discuss choking on snus. Thats a whole other topic but I have never choked on it myself,,, I wake up and my mouth is a little dry and gums are a little sore, no big deal.

Seeing that other people sleep with one in, I may have to try it now.

I have done it plenty of times. Portions tend to end up on the pillowcase. Los usually stays put though.

yeah I have the same experience with portions. I have found them all the way at the end of the bed before...? Los stays put but every once in awhile I wake up with seriously muddy teeth haha!

I don't like to sleep with a snus in. I've never done it intentionally, but I have fallen asleep in front of the tv with one in, and when I wake up my mouths all dry and there's this nasty taste, not good snus flavor but its evil twin.

I can do it with lös, but not with portions for some reason. I try not to do it too much, I figure I probably take in too much nic during the day anyway.

I fall asleep all the time with one in. Sometimes intentionally to induce sleep. I must not salivate much at night, because most of the time the flavor is still going strong when I get up. I've never lost one in my sleep either, but then again, I have been known to fall asleep with a pencil, book, DS, etc in my hand and waking up with it still there in the morning too. It freaks my husband out because he's never sure if I'm sleeping or not.

I posted a thread about this not too long ago. I have WICKED dreams. So intense. Not as close to intense as the Chantix dreams. When I was on Chantix, I could barely tell what reality was, at times during the day I thought I was still dreaming....
