More headaches could be in store for commuters ... Crews worked through the night Thursday and into Friday. As of 6 a.m. Friday, 17 cars still had to be righted, officials said.

I think it happened in Montana. It wouldn't have been here Thursday morning.
          Must be the Montana Militia.

Ok, got some solid news. I had the shipper call their UPS rep, and it turns out there was a mudslide in Montana on the 23rd that derailed a freight train. Google News tells me they cleared it up this morning, so here's hoping the packages are flowing again.

Mont. railway cleared after rock slide, derailment - BusinessWeek
            "LIBBY, Mont.

Rail workers have cleared a rock slide in northwestern Montana that derailed a freight train and blocked a high-traffic corridor for nearly two days.

BNSF Railway Co. spokesman Gus Melonas says trains started moving Friday morning.

A rock slide on Wednesday caused 16 cars of a freight train to derail, including one containing frozen turkeys. Melonas says workers spent the night removing more than 7,000 cubic yards of debris and pushing aside derailed cars to repair the track.

Thirteen cars still remain at the site 30 miles east of Libby. Some will be repaired but others will be cut into pieces and removed.
