I've found a place in Des Moines that deals General (my brand!). I call him once every week or so and order a roll of General White. I think he orders on Monday. A few days later (or Friday, since it's payday) I stop in and give him $43.46.

At first - a couple months ago - the stuff in his little General fridge was kinda stale. I imagine he didn't get much call for it and may have left the fridge unplugged after one of our many power outages. But I think that's all gone now and the stuff I get is fresh. He has mentioned demand is increasing. I'm not sure how much of that demand is just me ;-)

I've been in a couple of times now to basically buy the mini-mint which I use at work a lot. What do you do with a roll of General a week, lol! I added a can of general white last time, but I use LOS outside of work and he's not carrying that yet, don't know if he will. But I'll at least get my mini mint there and maybe another can every few weeks, 'bout all I can do for General.

I'm never not snussing. Though I have been trying to remember skip the last one just before I fall asleep. It always wakes me in the early morning hours with a terrible taste. I generally have to use a fresh one to get the taste out. Then I go back to sleep. :-)

I don't think I could chain-snus any more exciting flavor than General Whites. And los was way too much work - though I do keep a few can for special occasions.

Come to think of it, now that I can't order los, maybe I better make the occasions even more special. Maybe birthdays and funerals ;-)

I was in the Tobacco Hut on Saturday and came away with 2 los 2 OP and a can of White. Was worth the 120 mile round trip to stock up again till next payday.

Last weekend i was down that way and checked out the Cigarette Outlet on East University as the Hut was closed. They had general for around $2.50 a can. I went back in this weekend and all they had was WG and Mini Mint. Did have an interesting conversation with the manager. Apparently the owner got the General stuff in originally and didn't tell anyone else in the store where they ordered from. Now they are about out, the owner is on vacation and they don't know where to order from. She'd even talked to her distributor and they had never heard of it. I told her to look at swedishmatch.com since they would probably have US sales info on there. She did tell me that they would order from just about anywhere if they could find it then took my number and promised to call when they get some more stock in. Fingers crossed on that one.
