    1st Pris

I wasn't intending on trying lös, but after spending some time on snuson I felt compelled to investigate. Enjoying my 1st pris as I type. I've had it in for about an hour. No mudslide, no problem - I like!

I bought a can of General loose at my local retailer, made a 3ml ghettotool and I'm good to go ~

Thanks to the elder snus statesmen for the pearls of wisdom.

If anyone needs a 3ml syringe to make a ghettotool PM me. I have quite a few and would be willing to send within the continental US.

Now for the difficult part.... getting more

    UPDATE:

    * 2nd pris was a FAILURE. Had to abort after 10 minutes or so

    * Tried to hand bake 3rd attempt - FAILURE

    * 4th attempt back to the ghettotool - SUCCESS

The experience is a lot more subtle. Definitely feels stronger, but I grew accustomed to the instant flavor of a portion and the ability to mess with it. Tongue feels a bit rough, and my upper lip was partially numb and tingly for a bit - good times.

Congrats, I love lös. If it wasn't for my existing inventory of portion snus I would use lös a lot more than I do.

I had intended to wait a lot longer before trying lös, too, but Darwin talked me into it, and I have to thank him for doing so. Portions are great when I'm out and about, but when I use lös at home, I feel like I'm getting the real traditional Swedish experience.

Thanks for the, er, thanks man. Glad you're enjoying. If i could manage it I'd use nothing but lös. Just a far more involving and subtle experience, very Zen like sometimes and similar in that regard to a medium straight billiard of Full Virginia Flake, or, (insert favorite pipeweed here).

I threw one can of Roda loose in an order just for kicks thinking I would hate it. I loved it. It sucked being looseless waiting for the next shipment. It's been mostly loose since then.

I'm getting to the point that I try to use Lös for the most part when I'm at home.

Welcome to the losdome. It's like thunderdome, but with less wanton violence and mullets. And it has enough staying power to still be watchable after the early nineties. This analogy has become muddled, so I will just say that I happy to hear you are enjoying tobacco the way God intended it to be used. I use los all the time unless I am in a situation where tobacco teeth might be problem or when my hands are covered in foreign substances I do not want to get all over my tobacco taking a pinch.

Ever since I tossed that first pinch under my eyelid, I've never looked back..
