Probe is now my favorit los, I like that little touch of sweetness and it stays together pretty good.

i like how the taste isn't just pure whiskey either, it has sort of a full pipe-ish taste to it, which is great.
however, it can be a bit sweet at the beginning and runny. it makes me salivate a lot. i still love it though.
i just wish they didn't ruin the portions. they taste like they were dipped into the probe flavoring, on the outside of the bag, as some kind of cheap pasty residue.Comment

Probe is one Los snus i have yet to try. I am for sure getting some on my next order. I was wondering what you guys would compare it to to other Los snus? I noticed a few of you said it was sweet. Well I just got a free tin of Phantom Los in my last order and i was trying it today and I absolutely hated it. The reason i bring this up is because it almost had a sweet flavor to it for me. I just hope that probe is nothing like that kind of sweet. Im sure its not since most people like probe and so far most do not like Phantom.
So what would you compare it to?Comment

I really wouldn't compare it to anything, it's kind of it's own beast. You may very well not like it after trying it, but it's a must try imo. It tastes like whisky and tobacco in an abstract way. It would be like saying a wine has whisky and tobacco notes. You wouldn't take that absolutely literally, but would assume it hinted at that.Comment

Well I ended up trying Probe yesterday. It was not too bad, but for some reason it was just not appealing to me at the time. Maybe it was because the night before I drank a ton of whiskey and now im a bit hungover. So maybe its just in my head that the whiskey taste from probe is unappealing. Ill definitely keep giving it another shot though. Its not horrible IMO. I really do not think it will be one of my favorites, but definitely an occasional snus.Comment

The only time I ever enjoyed Probe was after a long night at the bar.
My mouth was so torched from cigars and liquor that the overwhelming (to me) taste of probe was more subtle.
Otherwise, this snus is just too much for me. I love the texture , but the sweetness is strange to me.
I'll try it again with the thought of pipe tobacco in my mind. Maybe this will do the trick. I haven't disregarded this snus yet like many others.Comment
