Northerner - after 8 days still "pending" doesn't respond to emails - took my money

    Northerner - after 8 days still "pending" doesn't respond to emails - took my money

    Northerner - my second snus order ever - ordered I think 11 products 8 days ago - from Sweden to the UK via swedish post - one at least it seems is now out of stock - they took money from my bank account to cover the full order - never shipped anything, despite their promise to deliver partial orders - emailed them asking for order status since last Friday (4 days ago including weekend) - they never responded. Order status is still "Pending." What are my options? If they want to take my money (even for products they don't even have apparently?) but don't send me anything - and refuse to answer emails regarding order status between Friday and Tuesday? I made a second order from buysnus.com - hopefully that will work out better. But what if Northerner - whose already taken my money - never sends me anything? what can I do in that case?

    Norhterner should eventually take care of your order. At least from my experience with getsnus.com (a northerner company) they're shipping is very delayed for now but they do ship eventually. For me it took them 9 days to ship part of my order and I'm still waiting on the other part.

        Okay, but is it ethical, or even legal for an internet company to take my money for a product that they don't actually have? Is it right that they refuse to respond to sensible inquiries in regards to order status? Considering that Northerner relies a lot on dollars from consumer-savvy Americans, I doubt they will stay in business longer than a year, based on the way they are operating.

              Well if the company decides not to respond to you're emails regarding order problems, they should know full well you're going on to go to the internet forums and discuss the fact. That's what internet forums where made for.

                  Yea, but I don't live in America, I live in London mate. Also this is about 8 days listed as "pending" by Northerner - after they took my money - nothing to do with delivery service. If you want to defend Northerner for bad practice I'm not sure you're doing a service to anyone in the snus community.

                      Is it really "bad business"?

                      I order stuff from Hong Kong on a semi-regular basis, it takes about 20-25 days.

                      I ordered 6 DVD's from Amazon awhile back, they took about 10 days to get it here from CA and they are a huge, automated, well staffed company.

                      Sure, faster is surely better, but going on about ethics, crimes and fraud after 6 business days seems, I don't know, overly optimistic?

                        I wasn't speaking of the time frame, but Northerner's lack of communication with customers. That, to me, is bad business.

                            Well this isn't from hong kong - this is from Sweden to UK. and after a week they haven't even "put it in the mail." It's "pending." though they took my money a week ago for the entire order, they haven't actually put it in the post. They haven't responded when I've asked them why this is the case. I'd of course be very surprised if you find this to be a tolerable way of doing business on the internet.

                              When we're talking about a tobacco product that people are hooked on and a product the same people have gotten in the past in a very quick manner - no, this is not the same situation as you ordering Hannah Montana seasons 1-5 on Amazon, danielan. People need their snus!
