Northerner - after 8 days still "pending" doesn't respond to emails - took my money

                  Woah, woah, woah... Frosted Long said in stock last night when I ordered a roll. If it's out of stock I'd rather take regular Thunder Frosted than wait months for the Longs.

                      *sigh* If I don't get a shipping confirmation or a reply to my e-mail I sent this morning before the day's over I'm done with these guys. I alter my order and work around what the site says is out of stock and then it turns out one of the things I ordered is also out of stock. BuySnus isn't having these problems so that leads me to believe this isn't a manufacturer problem, it's more of a "Oh s*it, we didn't order enough product from V2!" problem.

                          I'm still wondering if it's legit for a company to process payment (they took money via my debit card for the full order amount) for items that that they apparently don't actually have. One thing Northerner is REALLY fast at doing is the taking money thing! No back log there! They're on top of it!

                          Imagine what would happen if I sold something on ebay, took payment for it, deposited the payment into my account, and then said "Well I don't have one of those right now, but I'm working on getting one!"

                          Still no response to emails this week - I won't send anymore because apparently they can't deal with the volume they already have. Quite disastrous for a company that only has one single method of communicating with it's customers - email!

                            This reminds me of my first hunk of junk DVD recorder. It kept spitting the disc out after recording reading !!!!Bad Disc-Bad Disc!!!, when in fact it was the Unit itself that was the problem.

                                Ok - I admit that one product out of several was out of stock at the time of my order. I didn't know this at the time - fool and newb that I was - and my mind's not as sharp as it used to be - I thought the dot with "1-7" next to it meant "It will take 1-7 days to arrive at you're door depending on what shipping method you use." Of course it means "We don't have it but we expect to receive it in 1-7days." But to be fair, it doesn't say, as most internet retailers do "Out of stock - expect to receive new stock in 1-7 days." Anyway it shouldn't really matter because they also say this on their site:

                                "A new status has been added in the Personal Order part of the website. Any orders that have been shipped but still have items pending are now marked Partially Shipped.
                                You can expect to receive at least two packages to complete your order, in this case."

                                Rubbish! What they do now accept payment for the full order without sending anything (even the items they have in stock) and label the whole order as "pending" indefinitely until the out of stock item arrives.

                                Of course if Northerner wasn't in such an obvious and SELF PROFESSED CRISIS MODE, it might all work the way they say it should.

                                The big winners in all of this are the rival snus companies who are laughing their arses off (on the way to the bank) at Northerner as they acquire defecting customers (myself included) in droves.
