I gotta say, the Ebay analogy is a good one. I had the same thing happen to me, they said it was in stock, so I ordered before pact, waited a month with no response and then they just canceled my order and I now have to re-order after pact. Rick insures me that they are willing to sell it to me again at pre-pact prices so I can't say i'm upset, other than the fact I went a while without snus (but rick also sent me snus to cover that). So all in all, I think it sucks and was shitty planning but I can say they are 100% trying to make the best of a bad situation, which is more than can be said about some companies.

Well, you know, I initially thought (my expectations being very high from other internet companiees - particularly e-cig companies) "Hey, Northerner! Top notch snus company! There gonna write back right away and sort this thing out! Their gonna do whatever it takes to make amends with a valued customer! Then it's like - day one...no response to emails. Day two...no response to emails. Day three....no response to emails. "Maybe I should think about asking for my money back please?... No response to emails....

Also, is "(red dot) 1-7 " a clear indication that the item is out of stock? It wasn't for me. I don't know of any other internet company that uses such a system. If not they are in violation of UK law (quoted):

"5. Special offer – not in stock
Making an invitation to purchase products at a specified price, without disclosing the existence of any reasonable grounds the trader may have for believing that he/she will not be able to offer for supply or to procure another trader to supply, those products or equivalent products at that price for a period that is, and in quantities that are, reasonable having regard to the product, the scale of advertising of the product and the price offered."

By using using perhaps a deliberately ambiguous colour system that isn't clearly explained next to the numbers "1-7" are they really clearly and honestly stating that the product is out of stock? Should I just KNOW what (red dot) 1-7 means without anyone explaining it to me?

I am glad they are taking care of you. I wish they would have offered me some help, but I just got nadda.
I am sticking to my guns on not buying from the Northerner get up anymore.
I might give them a shot in a year or so, see if they have gotten things together.
            Wish em the best.

I'm with you. I'm sure Larry Waters and SnusCentral will appreciate my business more anyways.

Yah I had the same problem. Mine didn't even say -13 days or whatever, it said it was all in stock at the time, and remained that way for a while after I ordered. No emails for weeks. Then they refunded me etc. Northerner at heart is a company that will act as you described aboe, they will go out of their way and give you free shit and really make up for their errors (probably because errors are many). They just planned for this so poorly that they are suffering the consequences, and because they bought half the world out, we also must suffer if we want to go through northerner or getsnus or any number of their other proxies.

In the end I know how northerner operates and I know they are all about personal service and hooking you up with free stuff if they mess up, and for that I am thankfull. But for how they have been acting lately, I am not thankfull at all. I don't blame anyone who is going to shop elsewhere for the time being, because frankly this is the biggest cluster**** i've ever seen from a company of any type. Just keep in mind that after this all blows over, maybe it would be proffitable to try them again and see if they are back to providing the high quality product many of us have come to expect from them.

I have not done a post pact order yet and with these stories it looks like I will wait til September or use BuySnus.
