Rest assured big tobacco will NOT let the flavor restrictions pass... not only would that means tons of money lost for Skoal, Copenhagen, etc... that would also screw the cigarette guys out of menthol. Will NEVER happen.

Yeah and you'll probably run afoul of some FBI regulation (Federal Bureau of Intimacy).

Until they figure out a way to tax masturbation, I'll be a rich man.

lxskllr, I agree, it sucks not having the schwag and the new laws and future potential changes do suck. I'm having a lot of fun trying to grow and make my own though, because that really is the only way to make sure you can get what you want down the road. Maybe you need a new hobby to get excited about

I haven't posted much, but I've been watching the grow your own threads with interest. I think you may be right about the new hobby :^)

Some day I will tell my children about the great snus war that changed everything, tell them that's the reason why we all have to speak chinese now and why food all tastes like cardboard and life is not worth living, but, until then, I will just chew whatever tobacco I can find and keep shipping bags of feces to my state representatives (UPS, DoD, of course).

Just be sure to live long enough to tell your children these stories. Don't go back to smoking. Nicotine gum isn't all that bad, if you can afford it and don't mind having a persistent sore throat, after all. It only helps if you aren't sensitive to aspartame, as I am.

Ex-smokers need to unite and push our representatives to allow us a safer alternative to smoking. That's what they're getting paid to do, after all. They're getting paid to represent us and that's what we vote for them to do.

Being optimistic; I doubt they will lower nicotine levels in cigs or smokeless tobacco.
Perhaps the Strong Portions. If they do it will create a blackmarket. Also lowering
nicotine levels in cigarettes only causes people to smoke more resulting in more tar and
                      carbon monoxide.

There you go with that silly logic again. I'd like to see some good examples of it being used in the field :^D

You startin' an illegal international snus cartel? Sounds interesting.

                          P.S. Feds: I'm just kidding.

Edit: supposed to be a reply to Darwin's fist post. Apparently didn't get translated as such, forgot the "with quote" option.

Nice bandersnatch. The size of my cajones is a limiting factor in following suit, but I will morally support you nonetheless my friend!

I miss the semi-daily packages in the mail.

It made me happy to get a random roll of snus a couple times a week during my PACT stashing.

But we're getting a lot of new people here lately, which is pretty fun.

Shouldn't the 2010 V2 Limited Edition be out soon? maybe if hat comes out and we can get it, then it will be better.

I'm glad V2's on for the American market. Honestly, the snus isn't my favorite(with a few notable exceptions), but I like them a lot as a company. They've really busted ass getting snusers what they want, and they listen carefully to feedback. I'm hoping they really kick ass over here :^)

Oh, and yea, I expect the limited edition to be out soon. It seems to me, it's in August when it gets released.
