I'm jealous right now. I didn't have any problems with my first two deliveries (one of them post PACT), but this last order they made a delivery attempt and refused to let the apartment office sign as they stated they need to know that I'M the one over 21...so I have to have them hold it at this apparently dinky ass center in a suburb all the way across town from where I work...and their open hours are 10-12:30 and 4-6. Open 4.5 freaking hours and they all happen to be hours that I'm at work since I'm putting in overtime. What the frak? And of course I call their 800 number to see if it's possible to have it transferred to the other ups package location (where I've had packages held for me before and happens to be like 5 minutes from work so I could grab it on lunch) and all I get in response is "We can't do that Ms. ____ Does that answer all your questions today?"

Ironic that a package delivery company can't deliver a freaking package 15 miles so that I can pick it up before they ship it back to freaking Sweden. That makes a lot of sense. (I'm sure there's a good reason for the company's policy on that in general, but where I work, we're empowered to make decisions against general policy if it makes financial sense for the company and customer)

I'll just state that UPS ****ing sucks. My last delivery is a good example. They (lightly) tap your door ONCE and wait 5 seconds.... if no one answers, off they go. This is the norm. I usually rush to the door when I'm expecting a package but I was at work. My wife says she didn't even hear a knock. If I hadn't of told the apartment office manager (who was also expecting a package) to ask about mine since we may not be home it would've been another day in 100 degree weather. As it is I'm stuck with 15 cans of some funky General Whites that the heat turned brown. I could only imagine how they would've been after another 24 hours or so of that...

I am so lucky I can receive shipments at work. We get delivery between 9:30 and 10am every day... so my snus never sits in the heat. I feel for all of you that get that crappy home delivery at 4:30pm on a hot day.
