    Dry Mouth?

Seems as though a lot of the snus I try gives me a dry mouth. Do others experience this? Is this just a natural reaction to the tobacco or an ingredient in the snus?

Don't know. Anytime I use tobacco I'm also drinking water, iced tea, or a beer. But I know a lot of people have a hard time drinking without disrupting their snus.

Sometimes my mouth gets this way. When this occurs I usually grab something to drink, mainly water since it does the best to rehydrate your body and keeps the saliva rolling

I have the opposite reaction. I tend to produce more saliva when I have snus in. Not sure why.

I would answer but I have cottonmouth.

I only get dry mouth when I use to what I consider excess, like double barrel Onyx

I always have a drink handy when I snus. If I don't, it gets bitter way too fast. I have not found a better drink with snus than coffee though, thats my favorite snus of the day. And I am not even a coffee fanatic. But I think coffee goes the best with snus.

+1. Except that I'm a bit of a coffee fanatic.

Only has happened to be a couple times.

Once was during a presentation I was giving and had a portion in. I noticed when you talk a lot with snus in your mouth gets dry for some reason lol.

I get a dry mouth with most snus. OTOH, chewing tobacco and moist snuff really get my juices flowing.

Like others said, just drink something.

My lips usually dry out while snusing so I try to keep some water handy
