Now that Camel snus is well known, and so is Marlbroro, Skoal is, I think, might be doing well to re-release their snus again. I still wonder when a US company will try for a seasoned non-sweet hearty snus.
Skoal Snus?

I have tried it and have one in right now.
I have only seen two of the flavors that they have just came out with one is smooth ment and the other is mint. They come in a can of 15 and the size of the pouches are the same as regular skoal puches they are only white and dry as to be expected. In my opinion the smooth mint tastes like spearmint candy with nicotine and the mint just tastes like mint skoal with out the tobacco flavor as much. They are easier to use than camel snus because you can swallow and it wont burn your throat or make you feel sick. I choose Skoal snus over other brands including Marboro and camel and even some sweedish brands.

This thread prompted me to revisit the Smooth Mint I
bought a while back, wondering if my initial reaction
had changed...
"Like having a stick of peppermint/spearmint gum after a meal.
(A change-up but not ready yet for daily use)"
It starts off fine ... like having a wad of gum in your mouth ...
but within 15 minutes it turns on ya, becoming bitter and
bringing on a twinge of nausea..... Spit-out time!!
Need to remove it by the 10-minute mark or

I've bought a few cans of this as the Speedway by my work started carrying it awhile back. It's a better product than camel or marlboro except for the fact the pouches are humorously large.
I've been buying a can here and there when I want a sweet snus. It's got enough kick that I don't feel the need to spit it out and put in a real snus, and they didn't get too drippy for me although i see they did for snusgetter. I didn't experience the bitterness that he's talking about. it stayed pretty sweet throughout.
