I appreciate it.. The gastro dr whatever you call him told me hopefully it's bacterial and the antibiotics I've been takin will knock it out. I asked if I could go home no luck. Most likely tommorow. Sick of being here a little. Can't wait to get home.

That would be great if it's only bacterial. I spent 2 nights in the hospital once and it was a pain. They gave me a sleeping pill to help me sleep then woke me up every 2 hours to take blood LOL

Get better soon and hang in there.

Lmao guys good points on all fronts... Yeah I'll let everyone know how it goes tommorow. My wife brought over my son to visit that was a boost.

I'm a bit scared still if it could be worse but I'm manning up. Prepare for the worst hope for the best. Another cool thing was a chaplain came to see me. I'm not the religious type but he prayed with me. He's good people.

Update -

I got dischared today.. Still feel like I got kicked in the gut hopefully will subside soon. Sent me off with a script for the vic, two different antibiotics, and something for nausea.. That nausea stuff has a calming effect or it may just be in my head. Never got that pic for Lazer lol. My wife was with me and I didn't wanna explain. Thankfully tommorow I got a day off so more time to recoop. My manager called to check my status. My work is anal about absences. If you use up personal days a dr note won't work. But being admiited to the hospital does. So next time I want an unscheduled vacation I know what to do.

The nausea stuff is probably Phenergan. It has some quite powerful side effects.

Glad to hear you're back home, Eric. You've still got a good sense of humor -- that's the best medicine there is.

Make sure you continue to take the antibiotics until they're gone, even if you start feeling better. If not, the infection could come back, and it's likely to be worse the second time around.

Oh the nausea medicine I got is Prochlorper sub for compazine. Prochlorper sounds like some bratwurst brand.
